French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot says France refused to sign the new Peace Council Charter because it looks like a replacement for the UN:

It appears to be a substitute for the United Nations Charter.

The charter of this Peace Council, of this "Peace Board," does not say "in accordance with the text of the United Nations Security Council, I will concentrate on Gaza." No.

It says: "This Council is created forever with the vocation to deal with all issues of peace and security, whether in Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, the Great Lakes, etc."

So obviously, for us, that is not possible.

New Epstein files include a message saying Türkiye’s troops in Qatar stopped a possible Saudi/UAE military move or coup in 2017.

“Since the Turks are inside, the military option is no longer feasible.”

Türkiye did send troops to Qatar in 2017 and helped deter pressure.

DOJ mistakenly revealed names of dozens of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims — including minors — in newly released files.

At least 43 of 47 victim names were left unredacted, some appearing over 100 times, despite legal requirements to protect identities.

Victims’ attorneys say they provided a list of 350 names in advance, but the Justice Department failed to properly check the redactions.

The DOJ says it is removing names when notified and called the errors minimal.

New Trump post on Truth Social.

At a black-tie dinner, Trump joked about territorial expansion, first saying he needed to “watch the invasion of Greenland” before walking it back.

“We’re not going to invade Greenland. We’re going to buy it,” he said. “I want to make Canada the 51st state. Greenland will be the 52nd state. Venezuela can be 53rd.”

The remarks drew scattered laughter and long pauses from the audience.
