Terror group ISIS–Sahel launched a coordinated overnight raid on Niamey airport & Air Base 101. on January 29.

Dozens of terrorists used guns, RPGs, explosives, mortars, and drones, briefly penetrating hangars and aircraft areas.

ISIS has now released helmet-cam propaganda showing fires and aircraft hits.

Military side: At least damaged or destroyed — a Hürkuş-C (Turkish-made light ground-attack/trainer aircraft), a Diamond DA42 surveillance plane, a Mi-171Sh helicopter (hit by RPG), and a Cessna.

Civilian side: Several commercial planes hit by small-arms fire, including two ASKY Airlines Boeing 737s and one Air Côte d'Ivoire A319.
