This is a new age of imperial thinking, with imperial hemispheres and gunboat diplomacy.

That layer may disappear after Trump, but we cannot bet on that. It could get better or it could get even worse.

We depended on the big stick of the United States — and now we see that the man with the big stick can also use it against us.

We have never seen this before: that the United States no longer simply does what we want, but dares to threaten us with the big stick.

This is a turning point.
