Trump to Board of Peace members:

You are leaders of nations — in most cases very popular leaders, in some cases less so — but that is how life goes.

Trump:

Today, world is richer, safer, and much more peaceful than it was just one year ago.

We put out all those fires, a lot of people did not know including me, that some of those wars were going on.

Trump:

We were very pleased to be able to stop a war that had begun between India and Pakistan, both nuclear-armed nations.

I was deeply honored when the Prime Minister of Pakistan said that President Trump had saved 10 — perhaps even 20 — million lives by stopping it just in time.

Very bad things were about to happen.

Trump:

We are working on Egypt and Ethiopia.

A dam was built, and the water no longer flows the way it should. When I think of Egypt, I think of the Nile — and I think of the Nile with water in it.

Trump:

If Hamas doesn’t give up weapons, it’s gonna be the end of them.

BREAKING: Trump:

Iran wants to talk — and we will talk.

Trump on Syria:

I’ve spoken with the President there, and he is making tremendous progress — truly tremendous.

We’re happy about that. We lifted all sanctions, giving them a chance to breathe.

He is working very, very hard, and I think he’s going to put it all together.

Trump on Spain:

I secured commitments from virtually all NATO allies to increase their defense spending to five percent of GDP — everyone except Spain.

I don’t know what is happening with Spain. Why wouldn’t they do that? They want a free ride I guess?

We are gonna have to talk to Spain.

Trump on Board of Peace members:

They are friends of mine — let me see — yes, every one of them is a friend of mine.

Usually, I have a couple — maybe two or three — that I don’t like. But not this time. I actually like this entire group. Every single one of them. Can you believe it?

Usually, there are always two or three that I cannot stand, but I don’t see any of them up here. I like every one of these people.

Trump on Gaza:

We have sent great aid to Gaza.

You don't hear those stories anymore with people starving.

Trump on the Board of Peace:

Once this Board is completely formed, we can do pretty much whatever we want to do.

We will do it in conjunction with the UN.

Trump at Davos:

We are going to have peace in the world, and boy would that be great legacy for all of us.

Everybody in this room is a star, or you would not be here. There is a reason you are here.

Too often in international affairs, we find ourselves at events where people read scripted statements and issue strongly worded letters, yet no action follows. Nothing happens.

This group of leaders is about action. And the President of the United States is a President of action — someone who gets things done.

If you look at Hamas’s mission statement, it is clear: they seek to destroy the State of Israel. That mission has never served the people.

By contrast, our mission is very different. We are committed to establishing security and restoring the essential services that form the bedrock of human dignity.

Jared Kushner on Gaza’s reconstruction:

The area would be developed into zones. At the beginning, we considered the idea of starting with a free zone, alongside a Hamas-controlled zone. But then we said: why not plan for success — real success.

Hamas signed an agreement to demilitarize, and that is what we intend to enforce. People keep asking what our Plan B is. There is no Plan B. We have a plan. We signed an agreement, and everyone involved is committed to making it work.

There is a master plan, and it will be implemented in phases across the Middle East. Cities of two or three million people are being built in the region within three years. Projects like this are entirely achievable — if we make them happen.
