Reporter: France wants to conduct NATO exercises in Greenland. What would you have to say about that?

Bessent: And if this is all President Macron has to do—when France’s budget is in shambles—I would suggest that he focus on other priorities for the French people.

Russia's Medvedev:

Trump wants to paint the island on world maps in stars-and-stripes colors.

He wants to remain in history forever. And at the same time, to become like the President of Russia.

That, however, is impossible. In the course of the special military operation and as a result of referendums, Russia reclaimed precisely its own lands—territories that had been part of it for centuries—together with its own people.

Greenland is something entirely different. It has never been directly connected to the United States, although the latter has tried several times to buy it.

Russia's Medvedev:

Trump is in a hurry. His time is relentlessly running out. It is time to carve his name in golden letters into the tablets of history.

Spain’s MEP Irene Montero went nuclear in the European Parliament, accusing Europe of humiliating itself before Donald Trump:

Do you still believe that by helping the United States to commit its crimes, we will be safe?

Bombing and sanctioning Iran will not bring freedom to women. It will bring oil to Trump.

The policy of appeasement did not prevent the war; it only made the monster bigger.

Trump is the Hitler of the 21st century.

We must isolate the United States and leave NATO now, not help them bomb Iran. Have some dignity.

Ursula von der Leyen:

This moment of global change is fraught with dangers. Becoming more independent in shaping our own future will not be easy. It will require difficult decisions.

I am deeply convinced that together we can achieve it.

Long live Europe.

I think that Serbia understands more than ever that we are a different country.

The reality has changed so much. But what needs to happen is for their dreams of returning to Kosova to die out.

Turkish President Erdogan:

An agreement was signed last year on March 10 with the structure known as the SDF, which occupied territories in northern and eastern Syria.

According to this agreement, the SDF was supposed to lay down its arms and hand over the areas it occupies to the Syrian government.

However, the SDF did not take any positive steps toward integration within the designated timetable.

SDF continued to oppress civilians in the territories it occupied and carried out attacks against civilian and military targets outside these areas.

It is not possible for the terrorist organization to sustain its presence in the areas where it has been cornered.

From this point on, it is very clear that resorting to provocations would amount to suicide.

Turkish President Erdogan:

The Kurds in Syria are our own brothers and sisters.

As their brothers and sisters, we know best what kind of oppression our Kurdish brothers and sisters in Syria were subjected to under the previous tyrannical regime.

Their existence was not recognised, they were not accepted as citizens, they were not even given identity cards. They were not allowed to speak their mother tongue or preserve their culture and traditions.

As Prime Minister, I raised these injustices in all my meetings starting in 2008. We persistently brought up the rights of our Kurdish brothers and sisters in Syria. We emphasised at every opportunity that the Kurds must be granted their fundamental rights.

When no one else would even mention these issues, we openly expressed the rights of the Kurds in Syria to our counterparts.
