Clash Report
BIG: Syrian Army: Army forces have begun entering Al-Shaddadi, south of Hasakah, after the SDF/PKK released ISIS detainees from Al-Shaddadi prison.
Syrian Army:
Army units will secure Al-Shaddadi Prison and its surroundings, in addition to encircling Al-Shaddadi city, south of Hasakah and the surrounding areas, with the aim of arresting escaped prisoners who belong to ISIS.
Al-Shaddadi Prison and the security facilities in Al-Shaddadi city will be handed over immediately to the Ministry of Interior, after the completion of security and cordon operations.
The army leadership communicated with mediators and the SDF leadership in order to hand over Al-Shaddadi Prison to Internal Security and secure it and its surroundings, but the SDF leadership refused, and continues to refuse up to this moment.
We hold the SDF fully responsible for the release of ISIS elements from Al-Shaddadi Prison, and we will take all necessary measures to restore control over the area.

Nigel Farage on Trump:
To use economic threats against a country that’s been considered to be your closest ally for over a hundred years is not the kind of thing we would expect.
It’s wrong. It’s bad. It would be very, very hurtful to us.

But if he falls out with his own allies and leaves America isolated, that would be a very bad place to be.

Reporter: If Trump levies tariffs over Greenland, should the UK retaliate?
Nigel Farage: I think to retaliate would probably hurt us even more.
We have to negotiate and it’s one area where with Brexit we are free to negotiate directly.
You can never completely predict what Trump will do, but no, I don’t think reciprocal tariffs at this stage would make any sense at all.

Reporter: Do you condemn Trump?
Nigel Farage: I think he’s wrong. I think what he’s done is wrong. I don’t think you turn on your allies.
By the way, I completely understand strategically why Greenland matters so much...

If Europe is punished for defending Greenland and Denmark, for defending territorial integrity and sovereignty, then a line has been crossed.
In that case, Europe must be prepared to respond.

The military operation launched last week concluded yesterday with a ceasefire and full integration agreement.
I would like to express my satisfaction once again that the Syrian Army managed this sensitive operation with great care at every stage, acting with almost surgical precision throughout the operation to ensure that civilians were not harmed, which is worthy of every praise.
