A free Iran will work with regional and global partners to confront terrorism, organized crime, drug trafficking, and extremist Islamism.
In diplomacy, relations with the United States will be normalized and our friendship with America and her people will be restored.
The State of Israel will be recognized immediately. We will pursue the expansion of the Abraham Accords into the Cyrus accords bringing together a free Iran, Israel, and the Arab world.

It was a serious strategic mistake to exit nuclear energy.
We are now undertaking the most expensive energy transition in the entire world.
I know of no other country that makes things so difficult and expensive as Germany.

We have been applying a maximum pressure campaign on Iran’s oil exports to cut off the sources of the regime’s funding.
And what we have seen in the past month is a total financial collapse of the regime.
We’re seeing banks go out of business. We are seeing inflation. We are seeing a lack of hard currency.

What we are now seeing is the rats fleeing the ship.
We can see millions, tens of millions of dollars being wired out of the country, smuggled out by the Iranian leadership.
They are abandoning ship, we are seeing this happen.

What is being confused here is this: people’s frustrations over the economic and other hardships they face are being portrayed as if they were an ideological uprising against the regime.
When you look closely, there is actually no situation here that would whet the appetite of some Iran-hostile countries abroad.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Greece:
In Greek domestic politics, the perception of Türkiye as a threat has always played a driving role in politics.
Whenever someone wants to take an initiative regarding Türkiye, they inevitably have to pay a political price.
In Greece, a political leader is forced to choose between resolving problems with Türkiye and bringing peace to the region, or risking their own political career.
This situation needs to come to an end.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan:
We are a country that recognized Israel many years ago. So why are we now cutting relations with Israel, cutting trade? We have told them this repeatedly. Most recently, because of the genocide they launched after October 7. That is why we have brought relations to this point.
When Israel’s pressure and oppression against the Palestinians stop, when everything returns to normal life, there would be no problem for Türkiye in seeking normalization in its relations.
Even if killings through bombs dropped from aircraft or by sniper fire may have stopped for now, we still see on our screens every day children, women, and the elderly dying because sufficient humanitarian aid is not being allowed in: from cold, hunger, lack of medicine, and lack of treatment.
As long as this continues, it is not possible—not just for us, but for many countries—to normalize relations with Israel.

Apart from the Greek Prime Minister, do you see any other European prime minister going to Tel Aviv and posing for photos? You don’t—no one is going.
European leaders come to power through elections, and they know that being photographed with Netanyahu these days is not something that is viewed positively.
Can Netanyahu himself travel anywhere other than the United States? He can’t. Maybe he might come to Greece—I don’t know.
