A handwritten 2019 jail letter from Jeffrey Epstein to convicted sex offender Larry Nassar contains crude references to “our president,” widely interpreted as Donald Trump, who was in office at the time.

The letter includes a statement claiming the president shared a “love of young, nubile girls,” and ends with Epstein writing, “Life is unfair.”

The letter was written in August 2019, the same month Epstein died.

NEW: SBU says a Russian Il-38N maritime reconnaissance aircraft was struck before the submarine blast in Novorossiysk.

According to the SBU, the aircraft was hit at the Yeysk airbase during preparations for the strike. It was used for maritime surveillance, submarine detection, and countering SBU naval drones. The plane is estimated to be worth $24 million.

Earlier today, Libya’s Army chief of staff Muhammed Ali Al-Haddad met senior Turkish military officials in Ankara.

Ankara’s airspace has been temporarily closed.

BREAKING: Turkish Interior Ministry:

Contact was lost at 8:52 PM with a Falcon 50 business jet bearing tail number 9H-DFJ, which had departed Ankara Esenboğa Airport at 8:10 PM this evening en route to Tripoli.

An emergency landing alert was received from the aircraft in the vicinity of Haymana; however, subsequent attempts to re-establish contact with the plane were unsuccessful.

There were five passengers on board, including Libyan Chief of the General Staff, General Mohamed Ali Ahmed Al-Haddad.

Further updates will be shared with the public as developments occur.

According to initial information, the jet carrying the Libyan General Staff delegation suffered an electrical failure shortly after taking off from Esenboğa Airport. The crew issued a mayday call and began turning back to the airport.

As the aircraft was preparing for an emergency landing, it started dumping fuel. Authorities have not yet determined whether the explosion occurred in midair during the fuel dump or after the aircraft went down.

Search efforts are currently focused on the area.
