The son of former Ukrainian Energy and Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko has been studying for four years at one of Europe’s most expensive private schools in Switzerland, where tuition and living costs reach up to $200,000 per year.

The total cost may exceed $700,000, far higher than the family’s declared income.

These expenses are not listed in Halushchenko’s asset declarations.

His lawyers claim the payments are handled by his ex-wife, though her official income also appears insufficient.

Anti-corruption authorities have been asked to review the case.
