Zelensky: Russia Responds to Ceasefire Proposal with Strikes on Civilians

President Zelensky said Russia launched 103 drones and 4 missiles overnight, hitting Odesa’s Pryvoz market, residential areas in Cherkasy, Kharkiv’s energy grid, and a university gym in Zaporizhzhia — just a day after ceasefire talks in Istanbul.

At least 3 people were killed in the Kharkiv region and over 10 injured, including a 9-year-old in Cherkasy.

“Russia continues its terror and blocks diplomacy,” Zelensky said, calling for full sanctions and strikes on Russian military infrastructure.

11 Thai civilians killed in conflict with Cambodia.

A Russian passenger plane carrying around 50 people has gone missing in the Amur region in the east of the country.
