NOW: Syrian tribal forces heading to Suwayda.

Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa held calls with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to discuss the recent developments in Syria, especially in the south.

The leaders expressed full support for Syria’s unity and condemned repeated Israeli attacks on Syrian territory, calling them dangerous escalations that threaten regional stability.

They reaffirmed their rejection of foreign interference and stressed the importance of Syria’s sovereignty, stability, and the safety of its people.

President al-Sharaa thanked Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Qatar for their solidarity. He emphasized the state’s duty to protect all Syrians, regardless of sect or background, and held foreign interventions responsible for the current unrest.

He also reaffirmed Syria’s commitment to the rule of law and national unity.

BREAKING: Israeli-backed Hijri militants reportedly requested intervention from Damascus to end the Suwayda clashes.
