Rafale is not a bad plane. It's a very good plane, only if it’s employed well.

Since some Indian users still deny losing any fighter jets, here’s an interview from Bathinda, India, where at least one Indian Rafale fighter jet crashed after being shot down by the Pakistan Air Force.

In this clip, a local resident describes the plane crash over their village:

“My name is Sukhraj Singh. It was around 1:30 a.m. when the plane passed overhead. It was on fire. We all saw it – the entire village. It circled overhead, flames clearly visible, and then after a few moments, it crashed. There was a massive explosion, like fireworks going off.

It fell directly into the fields of Akalian Kalan and Akalian Khurd, with a huge blast following the crash. People from nearby came running, but the fire was too intense to approach. The army arrived later and secured the area.

No one knows yet if the pilot survived or not. We just saw the flames and the explosion. It was a terrifying sight.

We didn’t see any pilot around the wreckage, and no one was rescued. The fire was eventually put out by fire trucks, and the military arrived to secure the area. But there’s still no sign of the pilot.”

Note: Not full translation, just what matters.

Let's continue. This time, we're in Akhnoor, India.

An Indian reporter and a local from the area speak about a plane crash:

Reporter:

"India conducted airstrikes on terrorist camps in Pakistan last night, but after that we lost one aircraft."

Local:

"When we came out we saw one jet crashed here after which there was a panic in our village.

The pilots are safe. There were two pilots."

NOTE: We can't exactly confirm what aircraft crashed in here. But it was a fighter jet, that's for sure.

Next stop: Pampore, India.

Reporter talking about an "unidentified aircraft crash".

Since this is in India, and India hasn't announced capturing any Pakistani jet debris, it was an Indian aircraft.

We assume either a Rafale or Mirage 2000.

For the last stop, at least for now, we're heading to Ramban, India.

Indian security officer is seen with a fighter jet debris.

We believe this is the wreckage of an Indian Su-30MKI fighter jet. While we initially reported the crash in Akhnoor, it actually occurred in Ramban.

So far, we’ve identified at least four wreckage sites through open sources.

India has implicitly acknowledged losing fighter jets but hasn’t specified the number. Pakistan claims to have downed six.

This is the reality, straight from India.

Trump’s “big” announcement:

“Prescription drug prices in the U.S. have been 5–10x higher than elsewhere, with no good reason—just excuses from pharma companies.

Tomorrow, I’ll sign an executive order to cut prices by 30–80% using a “Most Favored Nation” policy, making the U.S. pay no more than the lowest global price. This will save Americans trillions.”

Starmer’s government will face a High Court challenge this week over the export of components for the F-35 fighter jet used by Israel.

Campaigners at Palestinian human rights organization Al-Haq are taking legal action against the Department for Business and Trade over the UK’s supply of critical parts for the combat aircraft.

The Labour government last September suspended some export licences to Israel for arms used in military operations in Gaza after a British government review found possible breaches of international humanitarian law by Israel.

Palestinian factions in Lebanon are skeptical of Mahmoud Abbas’ reported plan to push for disarmament during his upcoming visit to Beirut.

Abdullah Dandan, a Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) official, warned against repeating past mistakes, recalling the Sabra and Shatila massacre, where disarmed Palestinians were left unprotected.

The disarmament push is seen as part of a broader effort to reshape Lebanon’s political landscape, especially after recent Israeli strikes.
