UK Sent Israel Thousands of Military Items Despite Export Ban, Study Finds

UK firms have sent thousands of military items, including munitions, to Israel despite a government ban on key arms export licenses imposed in September 2024.

14 shipments, including one containing 160,000 items, have been sent since October 2023, with 8,630 items categorized as bombs, grenades, torpedoes, and missiles.

Despite suspending 29 licenses, the UK maintained 200 others, including those for tanks and armored vehicles, allowing continued military exports to Israel.
