Israel is planning to conquer and occupy Gaza

The new proposal, formulated by the new IDF chief of staff, has unofficial support from far-right ministers.

Under the plan, the IDF would deploy multiple combat divisions to reinvade Gaza, dismantle Hamas, seize large areas of the enclave, and confine the population to a designated so-called humanitarian zone along the coast.

The Israeli military would then administer Gaza.
