We have a very fair deal with Ukraine. It is a big commitment from the US.

I understand what Europe is ready to do. I want to ask Trump what the US is ready to do.

Trump said the parties are "pretty close" to reaching an agreement on a settlement in Ukraine.

Trump to Zelensky:

Trump:

We will take rare earths and use it for all we do, including AI and weapons.

Trump:

"Ukraine won't go back to fighting."

I think Trump will not stop supporting Ukraine.

A ceasefire agreement is inevitable.

Trump:

You always have to make compromises and certainly Zelensky will have to make compromises.

Trump:

We will have arms to Ukraine. Hopefully we won't have to send much.

Trump:

Once deal is done, it's over. Russia won't want to return.

Zelensky on the mineral deal:

This document is not enough.

Zelensky, sitting next to Trump:

Putin started the war, he has to pay.

Trump:

I am in the middle, I am for both Ukraine and Russia.

Trump:

This could have turned into World War III. Everything was going in the wrong direction.

I hope I will be remembered as a peacemaker. I do this to save lives - that is more important than anything else.

Trump:

We’re committed to NATO, but NATO has to step up and the Europeans have to step up more than they have.
