Russian Su-57 and American F-35A jets are set to compete for the Indian Air Force's attention at Aero India 2025 in Bengaluru.

Russia is offering the Su-57 to India at a reduced price as part of a strategy to strengthen ties and upgrade India's aging fleet.

A Russian spy ship caught fire off Syria’s coast

A Russian spy vessel, Kildin, packed with intelligence gear, caught fire & drifted out of control near Syria on Jan. 23. Flames & black smoke poured from its smokestack for at least 4 hours.

AP obtained audio, video, & photos from a nearby NATO ship. Kildin didn’t respond to NATO’s offer for help. Now stationed off Tartus, still gathering intelligence.

Russia has not publicly acknowledged the incident.
