Clash Report EXCLUSIVE: Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa will meet with President Erdogan one-on-one during his visit to Türkiye, alongside delegation-level talks on security, the economy, and refugee returns.

He is also expected to meet with the Turkish MoD and intelligence officials to discuss Syria’s security situation in detail.

Discussions will also cover the Turkish Armed Forces training new Syrian Army, as well as new deployment and cooperation areas.

Additionally, Sharaa and Syrian officials will hold talks with Turkish counterparts on investments and reconstruction efforts in Syria.

Promises not kept: U.S. had delivered only about half of the weapons pledged from its stockpiles last year by November 2024.

By December, Ukraine had received only about 30% of the promised armored vehicles.

China’s new mysterious submarine

China has once again caught Western analysts off guard with an unreported, ultra-modern submarine. Satellite images revealed the vessel at an unexpected shipyard, sparking speculation about its design and purpose.

Unlike the recently launched Type-041 nuclear-battery submarine, this new craft features a compact, sail-less hull with X-form rudders, indicating a distinctive, possibly experimental design.

Estimated at 45 meters long and 5 meters wide, it appears optimized for unconventional missions.

A key question is whether it is a manned attack submarine or an Extra-Large Uncrewed Underwater Vehicle (XLUUV).

If uncrewed, it would be the largest of its kind—up to eight times bigger than the U.S. Navy’s Orca XLUUV.

China has already led advancements in naval drone technology, including the world’s largest uncrewed surface vessel.

However, the presence of torpedo tubes and a potential towed sonar array suggests a combat role rather than reconnaissance.

Analysts also speculate on potential special forces or seabed warfare applications.
