“The secret treaty that could end the war in Ukraine”: Germany’s WELT publishes a secret agreement.

Ukraine pledged to:
— refuse from any membership in the military alliance (NATO);
— refuse to produce and receive nuclear weapons, do not allow foreign troops into the country and do not allow weapons through;
— do not provide infrastructure, including airfields and seaports, to other countries.

In response, the Russian Federation promised to:
— don’t attack Ukraine anymore;
— in the event of an “attack on Ukraine,” the guarantor countries undertake to support Ukraine within 3 days. The Russian Federation was not against security guarantees for Ukraine from other countries.

— Crimea and the port of Sevastopol were excluded from security guarantees, which, in fact, would transfer control over the peninsula to the Russian Federation.

— The occupied parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions would partially remain with the Russian Federation.

— The negotiations took place in Istanbul under the mediation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

— The UMPK is a wing kit/guidance module installed on general-purpose “dumb” bombs and commonly referred to as the "Russian JDAM" or "JDAMski".

— This transformation turns bombs like the FAB-500 and FAB-1500 into standoff weapons with a range of around 70 km, allowing aircraft to launch them from a safe distance.

Türkiye’s Future Aircraft Carrier

— It will be built entirely domestically.

— The initial plan outlines the deployment of 50 aircraft, with 20 to be stationed on the deck and 30 housed in the hangar.

— Among these aircraft are the naval version of HÜRJET light attack aircraft, ANKA-III unmanned jet fighter, Baykar’s Bayraktar KIZILELMA unmanned jet fighter, and Bayraktar TB3 UCAV. It will also likely carry helicopters and other support aircraft.

— The design and development of this new carrier is being led by the Turkish Navy's Design Project Office (DPO), which has extensive experience in designing and building other naval vessels like the MİLGEM corvettes and TF-2000 destroyer.
