Ukraine's Trypilska Thermal Power Plant in Kyiv region has been destroyed by Russian missile strikes.

The plant was completed between 1969 and 1972, and is the largest in the Kyiv region.

In a few weeks, Russia will outnumber Ukraine in artillery by a ratio of 10:1, predicts NATO commander in Europe Christopher Cavoli.

“The side that cannot fire back will lose. Ukraine will soon run out of shells and air defense systems.”

Russian Air Force has lost just one-tenth of its fleet while many of its military capabilities remain largely unaffected after more than two years of war in Ukraine, the top U.S. commander in Europe Christopher G. Cavoli told Congress.

“Russia’s strategic forces, long-range aviation, cyber capabilities, space capabilities, and capabilities in the electromagnetic spectrum have lost no capacity at all. The air force has lost some aircraft, but only about 10 percent of their fleet.”

He made this conclusion after the attack on the Trypilska Thermal Power Plant in the Kyiv region.

Russian Afrika Corps forces have arrived in Niger and will train local military personnel.

Niger became the second country after Burkina Faso in which Afrika Corps began operating.

Shortly after the military coup in July 2023, Niger terminated its military cooperation agreement with France and expelled the French Ambassador to Niamey, Sylvain Itte.
