It will take Western manufacturers two years to provide Ukrainian soldiers with Russian-level ammunition, the Financial Times writes, citing a senior Western official.

It is noted that Western defense companies do not have enough skilled labor to meet demand.

Antony Blinken, the US secretary of state, has warned that the Middle East faces its most “dangerous” conditions since at least 1973:

"I would argue that we’ve not seen a situation as dangerous as the one we’re facing now across the region since at least 1973, and arguably even before that," he added, a reference to the year of the Yom Kippur war between Israel and neighbouring Arab states.

Kuwait reportedly transferred more than 100 of its M-84AB tanks (modified licensed T-72 of Yugoslav production) to Croatia for the purpose of their repair and subsequent transfer to Ukraine.

Croatia also allegedly transferred to Ukraine two An-32B transport aircraft that had already flown to Ukraine.

The aircraft were purchased by the Croatian Air Force in 1995, but have been in storage at Pleso Airport in Zagreb since 2014.

Victoria Nuland, Acting U.S. Deputy Secretary of State:

If we can resolve the S-400 issue, which we want to do. The U.S. would be happy to welcome Türkiye back into the F-35 family.

If we can overcome this issue, the CAATSA issue will disappear and we can go back to the F-35 talks.

Hungary's Orban: Peace has a name: Donald Trump

We need Donald Trump in Europe. Because when Trump says "Make America Great Again" or "America First", it legitimizes us to "Make Europe Great Again" and "Europe First". Put Europe first, put France first, and put Hungary first.

This is the normal attitude in international politics if we want to find agreements based on national interest.

Finally, we must not forget that Trump was one of the most successful foreign policy presidents of the United States. He didn't start a single war.

The Abraham Accords were the only serious chance to create peace, balance and an acceptable way of life in the very difficult Middle East region.

My personal belief remains that if the name of the American president was Donald Trump in February 2022, there would have been no war in Europe.

Today, apart from him, I do not see anyone in Europe or America who would be a strong enough leader to stop the war. Peace has a name: Donald Trump.

CIA Director Burns:

The key to success lies in preserving Western aid for Ukraine.

At less than five percent of the U.S. defense budget, it is a relatively modest investment with significant geopolitical returns for the United States and notable returns for American industry.

Keeping the arms flowing will put Ukraine in a stronger position if an opportunity for serious negotiations emerges.

For the United States to walk away from the conflict at this crucial moment and cut off support to Ukraine would be an own goal of historic proportions.

Al Jazeera, citing Iranian sources:

The U.S. sent more than one message to Tehran during the past two days via third parties.

Washington's messages confirmed that it does not want an open war with Iran and that expanding the war would be met with American action.

Tehran rejected Washington's threats and considered targeting its territory a red line that would be met with an appropriate response.

Tehran's response confirmed that it does not want a war with Washington, but it will forcefully confront any American adventure.
