French cement maker Lafarge's factory in Syria has been struck by Turkish UCAV strikes.
A large part of the Lafarge cement factory was destroyed after Turkish strikes.
Lafarge pleaded guilty to aiding Daesh/ISIS, to pay over $777M in 2022.
"Lafarge made a deal with the devil, foreign terrorists who pledged to, and in fact did, harm the United States, its people and its national security, and they did it for profit," Breon Peace, US Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, told as the Justice Department announced the plea deal.
Lafarge paid the terror groups from 2013 through 2014 for protection and to allow the continued operation of a cement plant in northern Syria run by Lafarge's local subsidiary, Lafarge Cement Syria (LCS).
In total, nearly $6 million was sent to the two groups, according to prosecutors.

Trump:
Iraq is now controlled by Iran. That was the stupidest war.
I used to say…don’t ever go into Iraq, but if you do go in—keep the oil. They didn’t keep the oil.
We’re the only country where we in, we obliterate somebody, and we never keep anything.

Russia is working on its own Starlink
Three domestic low-orbit communication satellites launched from the Vostochny cosmodrome, developed by the Russian company Bureau 1440, provided the first Internet connection.
Currently, the data transfer rate to the device is 12 Mbit/s, and the latency is 41 milliseconds.
The next stage is serial and mass production of domestic devices, as well as increasing the data transfer speed to more than 100 Mbit/s.
The goal of the project is to create a commercial satellite broadband Internet access service that will operate in low orbits, at high speeds and with minimal delays. It will begin its work in 2027.
From 2025, it is planned to launch 10-12 rockets into orbit per year, with about 15 satellites placed in one rocket.
In total, by 2035, more than 900 low-orbit domestic satellites will be developed and launched into orbit.
They will provide high-speed satellite Internet to residents throughout Russia. The plans are to provide broadband services using Russian spacecraft in 75 countries around the world.
