Young U.S. voters now prefer Trump over Biden on Israeli-Palestinian conflict:

Voters between 18 and 29 years old, traditionally a heavily Democratic demographic, jump out.

Nearly three quarters of them disapprove of the way Biden is handling the conflict in Gaza.

And among registered voters, they say they would vote for Mr. Trump by 49 percent to 43 percent — in July, those young voters backed Mr. Biden by 10 percentage points.

As American warships rack up kills against Houthi drones and missiles in the Red Sea, Pentagon officials are increasingly alarmed not just at the threat to U.S. naval forces and international shipping — but at the growing cost of keeping them safe.

U.S. Navy destroyers have shot down 38 drones and multiple missiles in the Red Sea over the past two months. On Saturday alone, the destroyer USS Carney intercepted 14 one-way attack drones.
