USS Mason, an Arleigh Burke Class destroyer, tracked the ballistic missiles as they approached but both missiles fell short splashing into the Gulf of Aden.

This is viewed as significant escalation in Houthi threats to U.S. Navy vessels, according to multiple sources.

IDF dismissed a company commander and his deputy after the company fled during clashes in the Gaza Strip.

About half of the company's soldiers have not returned to the unit since the ouster of the two officers, who claimed along with dozens of their superiors that they did not receive fire support against Hamas forces - and therefore retreated.

The raid was poorly prepared & they were ambushed.

The unusual event created an acute crisis between the company commanders and their fighters and the battalion commander, in a way that caused about half of them not to return to the unit due to the brigade's decision to side with the general and not with the dismissed commanders.
