The German Ministry of Defense sent a team to Rzeszów to inspect the tanks. There, it was discovered that the Leopard 1A5s were already badly worn during the training and needed repairs.

It also turned out that out of ten Leopard 1A5 tanks already delivered to Ukraine in July, several failed due to similar problems.
