Trading Strategy: Smart Money Concept (SMC) with Top‑Down Analysis
➤ HTF (Higher-Time-frame)
Daily TF: I check the big picture — is the market in a pro‑trend run or just a counter‑trend pullback? This gives me the main narrative and signals when the mid‑time-frame trend might change.
➤ MTF (Mid-Time-frame)
4H: I look for immediate bias and Points of Interest (POIs). This time-frame helps confirm and fulfill the higher‑time-frame objective.
➤ LTF (Lower-Time-frame)
15m: I use this time-frame for trade execution, entering at the POIs or setups identified from the 4H chart.
➤ HTF (Higher-Time-frame)

This strategy works well for me because it gives clear direction from HTF to LTF. The Daily shows the big picture, the 4H sets bias and POIs, and the 15m helps me enter positions.

If you keep averaging down while price stays under the MA200, you’re essentially buying into weakness — and the market can continue dropping, leaving you with deeper losses.
If you DCA above the MA200, you’re averaging into strength, which statistically reduces the chance of facing a 50%+ drawdown. Respect the MA200: it’s a key line between bullish and bearish territory.”
