Since February, the basis value of Bitcoin’s 3-month futures has remained below the yield on the US 2-year Treasury note. This is a rather rare occurrence.

A similar period was observed between August 2022 and January 2023, coinciding with the end of that cycle's downturn.

The weak futures premium also signals reduced market depth and persistently low trading volumes. Such conditions typically reflect a more cautious market sentiment. 📉

Has this scenario already played out in the market?

We believe everyone has noticed the abundance of positive news regarding the Middle East right now—oil prices are hitting lows and global markets are rising.

There is no need for speculation here. We have seen situations do a complete 180-degree turn countless times before. So, if they do reach an agreement—great. If they don't—we are used to that and will trade based on how the situation unfolds.

As for the situation with ETFs and cryptocurrencies, we are currently following the pattern seen in past bear markets: the Bitcoin price would reach an all-time high (ATH) while ETF levels dropped, and Bitcoin would only hit bottom when the ETF underwent a sharp correction.

This pattern has repeated in every bear market. That doesn't mean history will repeat itself exactly this time; it simply serves as a reminder that nothing unprecedented is happening in the markets right now.

BREAKING: The US has removed Iran-related sanctions from the US Treasury's website.

The move comes amid reports that President Trump is aiming to announce a deal with Iran by the end of this week.
