Firstly, There is no Towrat of Musa pbuh exist on the Earth, Today's pentateuch/Torah from Tanakh is not Tawrat of Moses. It is filled with Errs and distortions.

- After The first Destruction of the Temple, All the Manuscripts were Destroyed

- A high priest claimed to memorize the Scriptures who was not a Prophet, Neither was a Confirmed Chosen Man or said to be an inspired Man from God. He was Ezra

- Ibn Hazam al Andalusi Rahimahullah claims that Ezra was a liar who distorted the Torah and teaching of Moses. Post Israelite Prophet Malachi affirmed the corruptions by Priests in 2:8-9
"you caused many to fail in the Torah,
you corrupted the covenant of Levi,”

-Even Though No jew can trace it back to Ezra, let put aside the question of tracing it back to Moses.

- The Oldest manuscript of Tanakh is from the 1st century which is nearly 300 years after Ezra. The Dead Sea Scrolls

- The Modern Masoretic Tanakh was standardized and canonized after 6th century

It was narrated from Jaabir ibn ‘Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) with some written material he had got from one of the people of the Book. He read it to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), and he got angry and said: “Are you confused (about your religion), O son of al-Khattaab? By the One in Whose hand is my soul, I have brought it (the message of Islam) to you clear and pure. Do not ask them about anything, lest they tell you something true and you disbelieve it, or they tell you something false and you believe it. By the One in Whose hand is my soul, if Moosa were alive, he would have no option but to follow me.”

Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say:

How can you ask the people of the Book about anything, when your Book that was revealed to the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is more recent, and you read it pure and not tampered with? And He has told you that the People of the Book altered the Book of Allah and changed it, and they wrote the Book with their own hands, and said that it is from Allah, to purchase with it a little price. Does not the knowledge that has come to you forbid you to ask them about anything? No, by Allah, we have not seen any man among them ask you about that which was revealed to you.

Narrated by al-Bukhari (7363).

Look at the Ayah:

Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Is it not sufficient for them that We have sent down to you the Book (the Quran) which is recited to them? Verily, herein is mercy and a reminder (or an admonition) for a people who believe”

“And We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a criterion over it.”

Meaning: The Qur’an confirms the truth in the earlier revelations but acts as the final judge over them.
So, Muslims are to refer to the Qur’an, not the Torah, as the final authority.

"But how is it that they come to you for judgement while they have the Torah, in which is the judgement of Allāh? Then they turn away, [even] after that; but those are not [in fact] believers."

They said: We darken their faces and make them ride on the donkey with their faces turned to the opposite direction (and their backs touching each other), and then they are taken round (the city). He said: Bring Torah if you are truthful. They brought it and recited it until when they came to the verse pertaining to stoning, the person who was reading placed his hand on the verse pertaining to stoning, and read (only that which was) between his hands and what was subsequent to that. Abdullah b. Salim who was at that time with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Command him (the reciter) to lift his hand. He lifted it and there was, underneath that, the verse pertaining to stoning. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) pronounced judgment about both of them and they were stoned. Abdullah b. 'Umar said: I was one of those who stoned them, and I saw him (the Jew) protecting her (the Jewess) with his body.
