WHAT DID THE SERPENT IN THE WILDERNESS REPRESENT? #WordFromTheLord #SeedToSow.
“Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life.” - John 3:14–15
Read below the account of the bronze serpent, found in the book of Numbers 21:4–9.
4Then they set out from Mount Hor along the route to the Red Sea, in order to bypass the land of Edom. But the people grew impatient on the journey 5and spoke against God and against Moses: “Why have you led us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? There is no bread or water, and we detest this wretched food!”
6So the LORD sent venomous snakes among the people, and many of the Israelites were bitten and died.
7Then the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned by speaking against the LORD and against you. Intercede with the LORD so He will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses interceded for the people.
8Then the LORD said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent and mount it on a pole. When anyone who is bitten looks at it, he will live.” 9So Moses made a bronze snake and mounted it on a pole. If anyone who was bitten looked at the bronze snake, he would live. (Numbers 21:4–9)
First, the serpent represented Jesus taking our sins and our sinful natures upon himself. He died and paid the price for our sins, and our sinful natures were crucified on the cross with Him:
’He himself bore our sins’ in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; ‘by his wounds you have been healed.’” (1 Peter 2:24)
“We know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.” Romans 6:6
This forgiveness was a free gift that God made available. They had but to look to receive it. They did not have to work for it or earn it. The Israelites simply looked at the serpent and were healed. Those who said, “I’m not going to look at some stupid snake on a pole!” and thus they perished.
Likewise, salvation is a free gift from God Ephesians 2:8–9. Do not boast...
Please, don’t refuse the free gift of eternal life that God is offering through Jesus. You do not have to earn it. You do not deserve it. You do not have to “fix” yourself first, anymore than the Israelites did. They looked and trusted God, He Himself healed them! Even though you are broken spiritually as a result of sin, God will fix you to Himself, when you place your trust in Jesus and allow Him to transform you. Through His Spirit He will make a new creation out of you and change your character. This is what is known as being “born again.”
Just receive the free gift of salvation that God is offering you! Why turn away from something so simple, and so free? Place your trust in Jesus!
May the peace of Christ be with you all.

June 26 - One Act of Obedience
For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous. (Romans 5:19 NASB)
By Adam’s one act of disobedience, many—that is, all—of his descendants were made sinners. But by Jesus’ one act of obedience, all who believe in Him are made righteous.
The parallel is important because the people who became sinners as a result of Adam’s sin, including you and me, were not just sinners by label; they were sinners by nature and by act.
Correspondingly, when we are made righteous through faith in Jesus, it is not that God just puts a new label on us by taking away the label “sinner” and applying the label “righteous.” Rather, we are actually made righteous, by nature and by act.
Just as surely as Adam’s disobedience made us all sinners, in exactly the same way, Christ’s obedience can make us all righteous. Not just in theory, not just in theology, but in the way we live—in the very nature that is in us.
prayer-response (SPEAK OUT LOUD)
Thank You, Jesus, for Your sacrifice. I proclaim that by one single act of obedience on Your part, I have been made righteous through faith. Amen.

Let Faith Arise
She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind him through the crowd and touched his robe.
Mark 5:27 NLT
The woman who touched Jesus in Mark 5 had suffered greatly for twelve years from a hemorrhage. She had not only spent all her money to pay for treatments that did not help her, but her condition had grown worse.
Perhaps you have been put through so many tests, been subject to so many probes, and tried so many “revolutionary cures,” you have lost count. But each time the treatment failed, and all you are left with is more bills and a condition that has deteriorated despite your best efforts.
You may have come to the point where you are tired of trying and tired of hoping. The disease has ravaged your body and you have neither the will nor the finances to continue fighting.
If that describes you, please know it is not by coincidence you are reading these words. I believe the Lord wanted you to read this because He loves you. Do not give up. Even if you have gone to specialist after specialist and tried various treatments to no avail, there is still hope!
I really believe what I am about to share will help you receive your breakthrough both in your body and in your finances. Here is the apostle Mark’s account:
When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction . . . And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”
—Mark 5:27–29, 34
If you have been believing God for healing, you might be thinking, If only I could see Jesus with my own eyes or hear Him with my own ears, then I could be healed. The apostle Luke recorded that “great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him” (Luke 5:15). These multitudes heard Jesus themselves, and they were healed.
But the apostle Mark’s account about the woman with the issue of blood doesn’t say, “When she heard Jesus.” It says, “When she heard about Jesus.”
Hallelujah! Do you know what that means? It means we can have the same faith this woman had just by hearing about Jesus. We may not see or hear Jesus in person as the multitudes did. But just by hearing about Jesus, we can receive the same faith and healing breakthrough the woman did—even if the conditions have been in our bodies for years, and even if doctors and expensive treatments have failed!

SURAH 5:116 THE MOST PROBLEMATIC VERSE IN ISLAM. #ISLAMDEBUNKED. #SEEDSTOSOW
And ˹on (1) Judgment Day˺ Allah will say, (2) “O Jesus, son of (3) Mary! Did you ever ask the people to worship you and your mother as gods besides Allah?” He will answer, “Glory be to You! How could I ever say what I had no right to say? If I had said such a thing, you would have certainly known it. You know what is ˹hidden˺ within me, but I do not know what is within You. Indeed, You ˹alone˺ are the Knower of all unseen.
BREAKING IT DOWN.....
1) Judgment Day - this conversation between Allah and Jesus has not happened yet
2) “O Jesus, son of Mary! Did you ever ask the people to worship you and your mother as gods besides Allah?” - when did Jesus ascend? 2000 years ago give or take, so right now it's before judgement day and Islam's all knowing Allah still thinks Christians have 3 god's 🤔 and all knowing Allah will still think this up until judgement day 🤔
3) Mary! - Once again, please remember this conversation dosen't happen until judgement day, the one speaking is Allah. So what is Allah saying?
Christmas have three God's 🤔 and they're Allah, Jesus and Mary, what?
Firstly, why is Mary there? Secondly why is Allah there? The biblical worldview has always been Father, Son and Holy Spirit. So why is Allah placing himself and Mary into the Chrstians biblical worldview, when no Christian in 2000 years of Church History, as ever held such a biblical worldview.
All Muslims need to do is present one piece of evidence from within Church history, that's 2000 years, just one Christian who supports and aligns with Surah 5:116?
Muslims, if you cannot find evidence to support S5:116 you need a better saviour and His name is Jesus Christ. His followers don't run nor hide from His Word, we stand firm on His Truth and it's this Truth, that sets you free.
May the peace of Christ be with you all.

June 27 - Products of Righteousness
Righteousness produces certain immediate and definite observable results. The whole of our lives, including our attitudes, our relationships, and the effectiveness of our acts of Christian service, will depend on how far we realize that we have been made righteous. We read in Proverbs 28:1, “The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion” (KJV). Few Christians today are bold. Most are timid, apologetic; they back down when confronted with evil. The root cause is a failure to realize that they are righteous in God’s sight—as righteous as Jesus Christ Himself. When we acknowledge and appreciate that fact, it makes us bold.
Let’s look at some other results of righteousness. Isaiah 32:17 says, “And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever” (KJV). This passage speaks of three products of righteousness: peace, quietness, and assurance, which come when we realize that we have been made righteous with Jesus Christ’s righteousness. Romans 14:17 tells us, “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost” (KJV). Peace, quietness, joy, and assurance are products of righteousness. If we do not receive righteousness by faith, we may struggle to achieve these results, but in vain. It is pathetic to see Christians trying to be joyful, have peace, relax, and have assurance—just because somebody told them they ought to. My experience is that when Christians really receive the assurance of the forgiveness of sin and of righteousness by faith, the results of righteousness follow automatically. The key is getting people to realize that they have been made righteous with the righteousness of Jesus Christ.
