MUHAMMAD'S COMPANIONS IN COMPARSING TO JESUS’S DISCIPLES.

MUHAMMAD'S- Lived as warriors.
JESUS’S - Lived spreading the Gospel, with the spirit of love.

MUHAMMAD'S - Slew and persecuted religious minorities. (In the early days of Islam you could be killed for not being Muslim)
JESUS - Were slain and persecuted as a religious minority. (In the early days of Christianity you could be killed for being Christian)

MUHAMMAD'S - Emphasis on Jihad (the way of Muhammad) "He who fights that Allah's word should be superior fights in Allah's cause" (Bukhari 53:355)
JESUS’S - Emphasis on Evangelism (the way of Jesus) "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15)

MUHAMMAD'S - Attacked and conquered the populations in parts of 28 modern countries in just the first three decades following Muhammad's death.
JESUS’S - Did not resort to violence of any sort, despite tremendous persecution.

MUHAMMAD'S - Declared holy war on the people of five major world religions in just the first 100 years following Muhammad's death.
JESUS’S - Went centuries without declaring 'holy war'.

MUHAMMAD'S - Plundered and lived off the wealth of others.
JESUS’S - Gave away their possessions to those in need. (Acts 2:44-45)

MUHAMMAD'S - Captured and enslaved non-Muslim people.
JESUS’S - Considered themselves to be slaves of others.

MUHAMMAD'S - Waged war to keep members from leaving the religion. Put apostates to death.
JESUS’S - No record of aggression toward apostates.

MUHAMMAD'S - Muhammad's own family members quickly fell into armed warfare against each other.
JESUS’S - Jesus' disciples never resorted to violence against one another (or anyone else).

MUHAMMAD'S - First 240 Years: 11 of the first 32 caliphs were murdered by fellow Muslims.
JESUS’S - First 240 Years: 14 of the first 25 popes were martyred by pagans (none by fellow Christians).

MUHAMMAD'S - Caliphs were polygamous and maintained harems of hundreds of captured sex slaves.
JESUS’S – No record of any sex slaves, being owned or its practice being ordained in our faith.

MUHAMMAD'S - Islamic mosques sustained by taxes forced from subjugated non-Muslims (the jizya).
JESUS’S - Christian churches sustained by voluntary tithes from Christians.

Turn to Jesus our Lord and Saviour, in truth and in heart but not because you have done something wonderful or where your from, know this friends it's simply believing He is the Truth, The Way and the Life.

John 14:5-7 ‘5Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.’

How to Get Right With God — Please furnish yourself with 8 layers as described in 2 Peter 1 that shows how to get right with God.

1) diligence 1st - whole / 100% at all times - First one mentioned is important because we don't do it dillegency, we hear a message but do we really take it seriously, we don't. We need to practise at it again and again and take it serious.

2) virtue 2nd - morale excellence. We don't use this much, because there very little in the world is excellence, learn how to live your life to please the Lord Jesus Christ. Our function is to learn how He functioned to His Father and therefore we know how to function with the father our Lord Jesus Christ.

3) knowledge 3rd - study scripture it's open to those who study, when you open the Word you want to know more of His love.

4) self control 4th - of the mind, sins don't start in the body it's in the mind, watching, listing to ungodly this brings forth and creates sin, just click our the TV channels and see our culture. Change from within.

5) perseverance 5th - continue went you don't want to, pray when sin enters the mind. We need to remember that Jesus Christ persevered all the way to thr cross to save you, carry that cross and praise the lord

6) Godliness 6th - try to be like God. Do what God would do. We don't see the invisible God, but His Son
is God in the flesh and be like Him, it's that simple.

7) brothly kindness 7th - be kind to one another, not being angry, not hold grudges it's simple be nice.

8) LOVE 8th - love for everyone, at all times.
2 Peter 1:10 -11 "if you do these things you will never stumble" 11 go to heaven and the entrance abduntly....
Philippians 2:11-12 "11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 12¶Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling"

Remember all knees will bow and all tounges confess He is Lord. Christ is Life John 3:16.

What Kind of a Church Reaches Men? I am sorry to say most don’t get we are a masculine-oriented church. We live in a culture, where men are increasingly marginalised and effeminate. This assault affects many of our churches. The music, programs and ethos are more in line with a feminine mystique than a male orientation. As a result, few men attend and fewer are actively seeking to be potent spiritual leaders.

But I know you're out there, God’s spirit is moving across the west and burning deep into western mans heart, restless souls are every where in our age, a great falling away, known as the apostasy age, I feel today is these times. Many men who consider themselves atheist/agnostic in this secular world, and oblivious ‘fools professing to be wise' soaked in flesh, liberalism and do not even realise its God that is burning their restless souls, restless because we westerners, do have an inherited 2000’s years of a Church history, we are Christians, if we like it or not, it's in our souls. We as followers of Jesus, men of God, need to become fearless I am not talking about trying to be "Rambo for Jesus" or being hyped-up on steroids. What I mean is that we proactively seek to reach men, intellectually, in scripture, in truth to create a culture where men are fearless in the word, humble and to be leaders, understood, at home, the community the town, nation all for the glory of God.

I believe the book of Acts is the key to unlocking and ministering today. I want to recruit a dedicated band of warriors to join me in pray and weekly bible study to build men of the church. I am convinced that the spiritual condition of our men righteously affects our family, congregation, community, town and nation by praying regularly and passionately for the Lord to anoint His men with the Spirit and raise them up as warriors for Christ. PM if this sounds like something you would benefit from, I'm no scholar just letting you know, I'm hungry for His Word and as a believer of the Word, I wish to simply read the Bible and let God direct us as we converse in the Spirit.

God’s Calling for Men to Change the World

Where are the men with humble hearts; men who sacrifice everything for Christ, who stand as servant-leaders for their families for Christ Church, God is calling you He is looking for men of God, to change the world.

It all started by Jesus calling a few men to follow Him, men whom the multitudes would follow, men were to be His method of winning the world to God. The Church needs an intentional strategy to reach men because if you reach a man, you reach his whole family. A changed man will influence a marriage and a family. A changed family will influence a neighbourhood and a community. A changed community will influence a state and a nation. A changed nation will help change the world. It all begins with a changed man.

7 Raptures In The Bible.

1) Enoch – Genesis. 5:24 “for God took him”

2) Elijah – 2 Kings 2:11 “and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven”. (Elijah gets sent back and is raptured up again, he gets raptured twice)

3) Jesus – 1 Corinthians 15 (resurrected, will come back, rose from the dead, appeared to disciples) Acts 1-11  verse 9 “He was taken up”

4) Paul – 2 Corinthians 12-1-4 in verse 2 Paul says “I knew a man in Christ fourteen years ago” read on to verses 4.  So fourteen years from 60AD Is 46AD this places Paul in “Lystra” in Acts 14:8-28 look what happened to Paul in verse 19 “stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead” ancient Jews would of took mosaic law serious and to the letter, if the people of Israel thought Paul was dead, HE WAS DEAD.

5) THE RAPTURE - (I am pre-trib)  1 Thess 4:13-18, v17 “caught up”, 1 Corinthians 15:50-58 in v54 “death is swallowed up in victory”, Titus 2:13 “looking for that blessed hope” this the Groom coming back for His bride the Church age, our age.  (Its called the “Day of Christ” found in 2 Thess 2:12, Philippians 1:10, 2:16 and 1 Corinthians 17-8, KJB has the correct translation the others replace with “Day of the Lord”. Theses are different events in future history Day of Christ is Pre-tribe and Day of the Lord is the day of Armageddon)

6) 144'000 – Revelation 7:1-8 “all the tribes of the children of Israel”.  A rapture took them from here to heaven Revelation 14, in verse 3 “which were redeemed from the earth” in v4 “virgins”, “redeemed from among men”, “firstfruits unto God and the lamb” question is what are firstfruits? v5 “no guile” they did not lie.  Who are theses 144'000? There not Jehovah Witness I am afraid. Checkout Matthew 2:16:18.

7) 2 Witnesses – Revelation 11-1-13 v12 “come up hither” are these the words believers will hear when were called. “come up hither” and who are the two witnesses? I don’t believe its a mystery in scripture, it tells us in Matthew 17:3  “Elijah and Moses” it kind of makes sense when you consider in Jude 9: Michael the archangel took Moses back to heaven, fought with the devil basically, why, was it to be a witness and preform the same task in the tribulation as he preformed in the Exodus?

JOSEPHUS WRITINGS CONFIRM BIBLICAL HISTORICAL ACCURACY. #WordFromTheLord
One of the first things I learnt once I commited my life to Christ and thus being born again, was the historian Flavius Josephus (37-101 A.D) a Jewish priest at the time of the Jewish Revolt of A.D. 66. He was captured by the Romans, imprisoned, set free and then retired to Rome where he wrote a history of the Jewish Revolt called the "Jewish War." Later he wrote "Antiquities" as a history of the Jews.

Please read a brief listing of people and places mentioned by Josephus that correspond to those mentioned in the Bible. To me this demonstrates that the Bible is not alone in its description of people, events, and places. It is verified by other sources, and their is other historians but the below is to highlight Josephus.

ANTIPAS – (17:8:1), "And now Herod altered his testament upon the alteration of his mind; for he appointed Antipas, to whom he had before left the kingdom, to be tetrarch of Galilee and Berea, and granted the kingdom to Archelaus."
BIBLE – (Rev. 2:13), "I know where you dwell, where Satan's throne is; and you hold fast My name, and did not deny My faith, even in the days of Antipas, My witness, My faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells."

HEROD - Numerous times (17:8:1), "And now Herod altered his testament upon the alteration of his mind. (18.5.3), "Whereupon he ordered the army to march along the Great Plain, while he himself, with Herod the tetrarch, and his friends, went up to Jerusalem to offer sacrifice to God, an ancient festival of the Jews being then just approaching." (See also, 18:2:1, 2, 3; 18:4:3, 5, 6; 18:5:1, 2, 3; 18:7:2,)
BIBLE – (Luke 3:1), "Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, when Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea, and Herod was tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip was tetrarch of the region of Ituraea and Trachonitis, and Lysanias was tetrarch of Abilene."

GALATIANS – (17:8:3), "First of all went his guards, then the band of Thracians, and after them the Germans; and next the band of Galatians, every one in their habiliments of war." (12:10:6), "And when he was dead, the people bestowed the high priesthood on Judas; who, hearing of the power of the Romans, and that they had conquered in war Galatia, and Iberia, and Carthage, and Lybia."
BIBLE – (Gal. 1:2), "and all the brethren who are with me, to the churches of Galatia."

JERICHO – (17:8:2), "....when Salome and Alexas gathered the soldiery together in the amphitheatre at Jericho . . . "
BIBLE – (Num. 22:1), "And the children of Israel journeyed, and encamped in the plains of Moab beyond the Jordan at Jericho."

JERSUALEM – (20:9:2), "Now as soon as Albinus was come to the city of Jerusalem . . "
BIBLE – (Matt. 21:10-11), "And when He had entered Jerusalem, all the city was stirred, saying, "Who is this?" And the multitudes were saying, "This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth in Galilee."

JESUS – (18:3:3), "Now there was about this time Jesus, a wise man, if it be lawful to call him a man; for he was a doer of wonderful works, a teacher of such men as receive the truth with pleasure. He drew over to him both many of the Jews and many of the Gentiles. He was [the] Christ. And when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principal men amongst us, had condemned him to the cross, those that loved him at the first did not forsake him; for he appeared to them alive again the third day; as the divine prophets had foretold these and ten thousand other wonderful things concerning him. And the tribe of Christians, so named from him, are not extinct at this day."

PART 1/2
PART 2/2

JOSEPHUS WRITINGS CONFIRM BIBLICAL HISTORICAL ACCURACY.
JESUS – (20:9:1), "Festus was now dead, and Albinus was but upon the road; so he assembled the Sanhedrim of judges, and brought before them the brother of Jesus, who was called Christ, whose name was James, and some others, [or, some of his companions]; and when he had formed an accusation against them as breakers of the law, he delivered them to be stoned: but as for those who seemed the most equitable of the citizens, and such as were the most uneasy at the breach of the laws, they disliked what was done;"

JUDEA numerous times – (20:9:1), "AND now Caesar, upon hearing the death of Festus, sent Albinus into Judea, as procurator." (See also, 20:1:1; 20:5:1, 2, 3; 20:6:1, 2; 20:7:1, 2; 20:8:5, 10; 20:11:1;).
BIBLE – (Matt. 2:1), "Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem . . . "

JOHN THE BAPTIST - (18.5.2) Now some of the Jews thought that the destruction of Herod's army came from God, and was a very just punishment for what he did against John called the Baptist [the dipper]. For Herod had him killed, although he was a good man and had urged the Jews to exert themselves to virtue, both as to justice toward one another and reverence towards.
BIBLE – (Matt. 3:1-2), "Now in those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

PONTIUS PILATE numerous times – (18:3:1), "But now Pilate, the procurator of Judea, removed the army from Cesarea to Jerusalem, to take their winter quarters there, in order to abolish the Jewish laws." (See also, 18:3:1, 2, 3; 18:4:1, 2, 5).

SADDUCEES – (20:9:1), "But this younger Ananus, who, as we have told you already, took the high priesthood, was a bold man in his temper, and very insolent; he was also of the sect of the Sadducees."
(BIBLE) – (Matt. 16:1), "And the Pharisees and Sadducees came up, and testing Him asked Him to show them a sign from heaven."

THE SAMARITANS (18:4:1), "But the nation of the Samaritans did not escape without tumults."
BIBLE – (Luke 10:33), "But a certain Samaritan, who was on a journey, came upon him; and when he saw him, he felt compassion."

TIBERIUS CAESAR – (18.6.4), "And now Agrippa was come to Puteoli, whence he wrote a letter to Tiberius Caesar, who then lived at Capreae, and told him that he was come so far in order to wait on him, and to pay him a visit; and desired that he would give him leave to come over to Caprein."

These and many others help to establish that the Bible was not written in isolation. It was written in the context of ancient Israel when and where it claims to have been written. This is important when authenticating the Bible and this is why external references are sometimes useful. In this case, Josephus who was a contemporary of the disciples, is referenced in support of biblical accuracy.

May the peace of Christ be with you all.

JOHN 5:30 I DO NOTHING ON MY OWN, CANT BE GOD

I can do nothing on my own. (John 5:30) How can he be God if he is powerless, hopeless and helpless, who else has heard this reason to deny Jesus? Mostly from Muslims and Jeohvah Witness I must add.

The Truth is Christians believe, Jesus is both God and the incarnated God, in flesh known as the man called Jesus Christ, one person within the hypostatic union relating to the three persons of the Trinity. The Father, Son & Holy Spirit.

In Galatians 4:4 Jesus was under the law, as a man, He was obligated to keep the law. In His humbled state of being lower than the angels Hebrew 2:9, Jesus was cooperating with the limitations of being a man Philippians 2:5-8. Therefore, He was in complete subjection to the Father so that He might fulfill the law and be the sacrifice for our sins Hebrews 5:10 and offer salvation.

Only until Jesus Baptism did He start to perform Miracles. It was at that point that the Holy Spirit came upon Him. Therefore, Jesus was performing His miracles not by His own power but by the power of the Holy Spirit. This same Holy Spirit is our comforter, is the light of God that rebuilds falling man into Born Again Christians. Matthew 17:20)
