Sahih Bukhari (62:18) - Aisha's father, Abu Bakr, wasn't on board at first, but Muhammad explained how the rules of their religion made it possible. This is similar to the way that present-day cult leaders manipulate their followers into similar concessions.

Is this bad advice? More embarrassing but looking at why he justified marrying Aisha is embarrassing not only is it circular reasoning, but it seems to be two erotic dreams. Read (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 87, Number 140; see also Number 139)

GOD SAID THE MESISAH NAME WILL BE 'IMMANUEL' SO JESUS IS FALSE?
Another common objection I get from deniers of Jesus divinity. So if Jesus is not called Immanuel, does that mean He is not the Messiah?

NO. He is the Messiah. It’s very simply explained in scripture you see “God with Us” is the Hebrew meaning of Immanuel, in The Gospel of (Matthew 1:22–23) it interprets this as a prophecy of the birth of the Messiah, and the fulfilment of Scripture in the person of Jesus. "God (El) with us" the prophecy of “The Messiah is in (Isaiah 7:14) meaning Jesus is the "God with Us".

But His name is still Jesus, not Immanuel? Commonly refuted back to us. We then proclaim the gospel at this point and praise the Lord.

We Christians believe Jesus is the Incarnated God of the Bible, the second person of the tri-unity of God, the very 'elohiym' of (Genesis 1:1) as prophesised would come in (Isaiah 7:14). We worship the very God who came to be with us, who promised to always be us, and in our walk with Christ, we know in our being as Born Again Christians, that God is With us.

KEEP IMPROVING - 30 JANUARY 2021

‘From everyone who has been given much, much more will be demanded.’

If we want to use our God-given skills to their full advantage in His kingdom, it’s important for us to keep growing and improving them. To do that, we need self-discipline. When we have a natural talent for something and we find it easy, we might forget we need to invest time and effort into improving it. We might also find it boring, especially if it involves some degree of repetition or going back over the basics. That’s why we need to learn to discipline ourselves first. In Galatians 5:22-23, we can read a list of the fruits of the Spirit – one of which is self-control. If we rely on our own strength, we’ll struggle to stay disciplined. But we have the help of the Holy Spirit. When we allow Him to work within us, He’ll help us to develop our self-control. Here are three reasons why self-control can help us to grow our skills:

1) Improving something often means giving up something else. We may have to give up some of our free time in order to practise and learn, and being disciplined helps us to stay focused and avoid being distracted by other things.

2) We need to take small steps. That can make learning and improving feel like a slow process at times. Self-discipline can help prevent us wanting to give up when we’re not moving forwards as quickly as we’d like.

3) There’s always room for improvement. When we can do something well, it’s tempting to just stop there. Self-discipline helps us refuse to settle for ‘good enough’ and instead keep reaching for the best we can be, so we can be everything God designed us to be.

WHAT NOW?
Think of a skill you have. Today, replace some of the time you’d spend watching TV or scrolling through social media with one activity that’ll help towards improving that skill.

WHAT JUSTIFICATION MEANS - JANUARY 30TH 2021.
Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. (Romans 5:9)

The word translated “justified” has a whole slew of related meanings.

First, it has a legal meaning. Legally speaking, it means that we are acquitted, absolved of all wrongdoing. We were on trial, but we were acquitted. That is very good news. Think of what a person being tried for murder might feel to find that he has been acquitted. Just try to imagine it. We also should feel that happy.

Second, we are not guilty.

Third, we are reckoned righteous.

Many people stop there. But I assure you that the full meaning of the word is more than that. We are also made righteous. The blood of Jesus not only causes us to be reckoned righteous, it actually makes us righteous.

Then, we are justified. This means it is “just-as-if-I’d” never sinned. We have been made righteous with the righteousness of Christ, which has no evil past and no shadow of guilt, and against which Satan cannot accuse us. We are made righteous with the righteousness of Jesus. It is by Christ’s righteousness that we are justified. There is no guilt, no problem with the past. It has all been erased.

PRAYER RESPONSE
Thank You, Lord, for the blood of Jesus. I proclaim that through His blood, I am justified, made righteous, just-as-if-I’d never sinned. Amen.

JOSEPHUS WRITINGS CONFIRM BIBLICAL HISTORICAL ACCURACY.

One of the first things I learnt once I commited my life to Christ and thus being born again, was the historian Flavius Josephus (37-101 A.D) a Jewish priest at the time of the Jewish Revolt of A.D. 66. He was captured by the Romans, imprisoned, set free and then retired to Rome where he wrote a history of the Jewish Revolt called the "Jewish War." Later he wrote "Antiquities" as a history of the Jews.

Please read a brief listing of people and places mentioned by Josephus that correspond to those mentioned in the Bible. To me this demonstrates that the Bible is not alone in its description of people, events, and places. It is verified by other sources, and their is other historians but the below is to highlight Josephus.

ANTIPAS – (17:8:1), "And now Herod altered his testament upon the alteration of his mind; for he appointed Antipas, to whom he had before left the kingdom, to be tetrarch of Galilee and Berea, and granted the kingdom to Archelaus."
BIBLE – (Rev. 2:13), "I know where you dwell, where Satan's throne is; and you hold fast My name, and did not deny My faith, even in the days of Antipas, My witness, My faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells."

These and many others help to establish that the Bible was not written in isolation. It was written in the context of ancient Israel when and where it claims to have been written. This is important when authenticating the Bible and this is why external references are sometimes useful. In this case, Josephus who was a contemporary of the disciples, is referenced in support of biblical accuracy.

INSPIRE OTHERS - 09 DECEMBER 2020

‘He will make you rich in every way so that you can always give freely.’

2 Corinthians 9:11 NCV
When a friend needs encouragement, we’re in a great place to give it to them. Paul wrote: ‘He will make you rich in every way so that you can always give freely.’ As God inspires us to follow His call and achieve all kinds of things for His kingdom, we should also be willing to pour inspiration on to others who need it.

Here’s some advice for times when we’re called to encourage and inspire someone:

1) Assure them of God’s love, and yours. When people are nervous or unsure, it helps to remind them of how much God loves them, and how much you care for them too. Reassure them that it will never be withdrawn because of their achievements or actions. Let them know they’re loved for who they are, and that their worth in God’s eyes is never in doubt.

2) Help them to discover their potential. ‘We have different gifts, according to the grace given us’ (Romans 12:6 NIV). Find out what they love to do, and help them discover their gifts and skills. Encourage them to take a step out of their comfort zone so they can stretch and grow their skills.

3) Don’t try to make them something they’re not. God gives each person their own unique personality and calling. Celebrate what makes them individual, and support the person they are, not the person you think they ought to be.

4) Help them build godly values. Encourage them to get into God’s Word every day. ‘All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work’ (2 Timothy 3:17 NIV).

Let’s come alongside others and inspire them to do ‘every good work’.

Ask God to show you a friend who needs inspiration. Arrange some time to have a chat with them and, with the help of the points in today’s reading, speak words of encouragement over them.

THE FULL ARMOUR OF GOD
Q) Can the devil read our thoughts,
A) No he cannot. Only God can read (Genesis 18:12-15) and Jesus did many times too please read (Mark 2:8).

A second question to understand and consider.

Q) What can the devil do with our minds? (2 Cornithians 10:4-5) the mind has to be protected or the devil can captivate our minds, bring thoughts of sin.

To be changed from within to walk In Christ all will need the Full Armour Of God found in (Ephesians 6:10-18) the last two verses in 2 Cornithians and Ephesians show the battle is not fleshly not earthly but spiritual against principalities, wickedness in high places.

Look at the Full Armour of God in detail that is promised to us.

1) Sheild of FAITH - protection from the "fiery darts of the wicked one" mind is sealed like an old wineskin reference "Arabon"

2) Helmet of SALVATION - is the sealing by the HS, without protection from fears, lust, lying, stealing, feeling guilty all of theses are False, Emotions, Appearing, Real. (FEAR) in (1 Peter 5:8-9) it says "be sober" "watch" your adversary "the devil" a roaring lion seeking people to devour (Hebrews 11:34)

3) loins girt about with TRUTH

4) breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS

5) feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of PEACE

6) sword of the SPIRIT, which is the word of God

INSECURITY IN LEADERSHIP - 31 JANUARY 2021

‘Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others.’

Philippians 2:3 NLT
Here’s the dilemma of an insecure leader: if others excel in doing a job, they fear it will make them look bad. But they also fear that if they do the job poorly, they will still look bad. So they try to do everything themselves. As a result, they fail to succeed or their success is limited.

Paul addresses it this way: ‘Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too’ (vv. 3-4 NLT).

Secure leaders are able to believe in others because they believe in themselves. They aren’t arrogant; they know their own strengths and weaknesses and respect themselves. When their people perform well they don’t feel threatened. They go out of their way to bring the best people together, then build them up so that they will perform at the highest level. When a secure leader’s team succeeds, it brings them great joy. They see that as the highest compliment they can receive for their leadership ability.

'Nothing is a greater impediment to being on good terms with others, than being ill at ease with yourself.’

So what should you do?

1) Know yourself. If you’re not naturally self-aware, ask someone you trust to name your three greatest strengths and weaknesses. Don’t defend yourself when you hear their answers. Gather the information and then reflect on it.

2) Get help. You deserve it, you’re worth it! As you begin to overcome insecurity you will rise to a new level of blessing and achievement.

WORD FROM THE LORD.
Reading Psalms last I noticed something amazing. The musical term SELAH in numerous verses and places. So for any Muslim who still wishes to place Mohammed as the Holy One in the book of Habakkuk 3:3 OT it's not here and you will need to find another place, as I originally said SELAH is a musical term and proven as scripturre interprets scripture to the Truth of His Word.

Psalm 3:1-8 KJV — A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about. Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly. Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
