Incident Title: Device Power Failure

Date: 10-12-2024
Time: 2.30 PM

Summary:
The incident occurred due to the device being connected to the same power circuit. In June, Equinix plugged in all four power cords; however, the technician did not notice that the device was already connected to the same power circuit.

Root Cause:
The device’s power redundancy was compromised as all power cords were connected to the same circuit, leaving no backup in case of circuit failure.

Resolution:
The issue has been resolved by redistributing the power cords across separate circuits to ensure proper redundancy and prevent future failures.
