Nifty Trading @ 8936. Luckily Stop-Loss Still intact. Market likely to remain range-bound this week and we have one more trading holiday tomorrow. So now Shorting 8300 PE @ 190 For April and keeping the position open.

It's a Covered Put Strategy.

Nifty Shorted @ 8950 And Now Shorting 8300 PE @ 190 ( Monthly Expiry )

If the Market remains range-bound or it doesn't fall below 8300 for this month. 8300 PE will be Zero. Just hedging Short position to minimize risk.

If we hit Stop-loss at 9130 in nifty, we will gain a few points from 8300 PE which will reduce our cost.

And on the downside maximum Gain is up till 8300-190 = 8110. If Nifty falls below 8110 for April, we won't gain anything below that.
Nearest Nifty Gap to be filled at 8800-8750. One can short Intraday Options 9300 or 9400 CE of weekly Expiry. Keeping Stop-loss as per your risk management. Or Nifty spot 9040.

9300 CE @ 60
9400 CE @ 40

Comment: April 15. 2020. - Positional Trade Update

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nifty stop-loss was at 9130, But it was triggered in GAP so the position is stuck. Nifty Opened at 9197. Nifty trading at 9244. So now keeping stop-loss at 9265. Placing 20 Points away from CMP. If 9265 Hit then futures position must be squared off, as we don't know pullback may extant to 9500 or 10000 levels. We will get more technical indication to short with time.

Nifty Option 8300 PE shorted at 190 is now 98. 90 Points of Profit. So we are still near to our Initial Stop-loss Range.

Nifty 8300 PE Profit is compensating for the extra loss in nifty due to gap-up. If we exit Position both now we still get at the same loss as it could have been at 9130. Extra loss if 100 points from 9130 to 9140 is compensated by 8300 PE which is now 100 from 190.

*Option Trade was purely to minimize the risk and that helping us exactly what it was meant for.*

As this pullback is looking strong and we have gaps that can acts as support as well. So IF nifty hit 9265 Our futures position will be closed But Nifty 8300 PE short position will be kept open. And the idea is to eat the whole premium.

Nifty at Shorted at 8950 | Cmp 9230 | Revised stop-loss because of GAP-up is 9265.

Nifty 8300 PE | Shorted at 190 | CMP 100 | Keeping SL at 180.
And will keep the position open even if nifty hit 9265 till the expiry date.

This one is a good example of staying with The Primary Trend and trade management. Nifty & Nifty Option both of are in profit. Because of the Options, *Covered Put Strategy* we are able to manage today's huge gap-up opening against our anticipated direction.

Nifty CMP @ 8890 ( Shorted at 8950 )
Nifty 8300 PE @ 160 ( shorted at 190)

Continue holding the position in Nifty and Options.

Nifty PE stop-loss to be done only if we hold naked put.

Right now Nifty Short is open, it didn't hit SL @ 9265. ( luckily )

So hold both trades. And let Cover Put Strategy Play its Role for maximum Gain and minimum Risk.

Yes, another huge Gap-Up and trade management required again. We will wait for RBI Press Conference and apply trade management as per the market movements.
Keeping the Stop-loss @ Today's High. When stop-loss hit, will exit only nifty position and 8300 PE will be kept open till expiry.
HDFC Bank posted good results. The Primary trend being down, I'm looking at the shorting opportunity when price rally upon a good result.

Entry: 950-960 ( Resistance - Wait for price to take a resistance - use 30 minutes or hourly to for conformation)
Stop-loss: 990 ( Previous Swing High)

Target: 1:5 ( 800 )

*Don't Jump The Gun at 9:15. Our patience will achieve more than our force.*

Hdfcbank daily trend will turn up when closed above 990.
(Bear Market Low 738 - Swing High 988 - HL 810 - HH ?? )
(738 - 988 - 810 - 988++ ??)

Entry: 950-960 ( Resistance - Wait for price to take a resistance - use 30 minutes or hourly to for conformation)

How to confirm whether it's respecting resistance or not?

There no magic formula. Just wait for a red candle, bar around 950-960 on 30 minutes or hourly.

One red candle doesn't confirm resistance. But it's a technique to enter a trade at our predefined resistance level.
Keep things simple enough while trading.

HDFC Bank trading at 945 not crossing even day's open.

Opened at 951 and high made 960.95 in 1st 15 minutes of trading. So we can not get that level for a trade.

HDFC bank probably trading in resistance and time is now to open a trade.

Trade : Shorting HDFC Bank at 946
Shorting 880 PE @ 15

Net Price 946+15 = 961

Stop-loss 990

( All levels are Spot Prices, so trade accordingly in Futures )
