BREAKING!🚨 Speaker Mike Johnson’s funding bill which the SAVE Act is attached to has FAILED to pass through the House.

The vote was 202-220, with two House Republicans voting present. Fourteen Republicans voted against the plan, while three Democrats voted in favor. Among the no votes was House Armed Services Committee Chair Mike Rogers (Ala.).

Johnson’s plan would have maintained government funding until March 28 and mandated voters to present proof of their U.S. citizenship.

As of right now, Government funding will EXPIRE on September 30th and the SHUT DOWN will commence on October 1st, IF there is no CR passed.
