A dragon! I have outlined the head. It is pointing south into Louisiana. Its body winds up through (or actually is) the Appalachian Mountains.

I outlined it a bit better. I followed the natural lines of the geography.

As I was looking at this I remembered a couple of maps that I have and began thinking about the body "cavity" of the dragon. Would it create openings, or cave/cavern systems?

The top map is where people go missing in the US and the bottom map is the cave systems. Seems to align with the dragon in the landscape.

Another interesting point to ponder is that it is said that dragons guard their gold. Not for its value, but for its frequency. Do you remember where the first gold rush in the United States was? We covered it in our "There was a Time" series.

This information is from the Voyagers Series. It states that the Sword Excalibur was a "Staff Star Gate Tool" and that King Arthur relocated the Arc Box containing the Rod and Staff at the Vale of Pewsey, England. So I thought what the heck, I will give it a look.
