Fran and I were honored this week to accept an invitation from former President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush to attend the Bush Institute's Governors Forum on Reading in Dallas. During a panel discussion with former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, I was proud to highlight the incredible work we're doing in Ohio to implement the Science of Reading in our schools. Investing to ensure our youth can read opens the door for future learning, good jobs, and a lifetime of opportunities.
