Debunking two narratives: 👇

1) SNAP was intended to help Americans who encounter tough times, including those who are disabled, and low-income families raising young kids.

It’s an important lifeline for those who need some help to get back on their feet. However, nearly 75% of able-bodies adults without dependents on food stamps do not work at all.

@POTUS’‘One Big, Beautiful Bill’ promotes the dignity of work, individual responsibility, and restores SNAP to serve the truly needy by strengthening and preserving the program to serve those who need it MOST.

Our bill included work requirements for able-bodied adults to work at least 20 hours per week OR be enrolled in education, a training program, or volunteering to remain eligible.

The OBBB legislation also cracked down on Medicaid and SNAP fraud—ensuring those programs only serve eligible Americans, not illegal aliens.

2) On October 10th, @USDA made clear: contingency funds are not legally available to cover regular benefits.

Even if it was legal, the $5-6 billion currently in the fund is not nearly enough to cover the estimated $8 billion expense. Senate Dems using the Schumer Shutdown as “leverage” have known this reality for 17 days.

The quickest way to ensure Americans in need receive their food stamps is to REOPEN the federal government ASAP.

I’ve voted 12 times since Oct 1. to fund the government, including SNAP. Only three @SenateDems can say the same.

Seattle Children's Hospital combines their gender clinic with their autism center. They are convincing vulnerable autistic children they are transgender by telling them “there’s something wrong with them” and putting them on hormones and puberty blockers

“I want to spotlight one particularly dangerous gender clinic and that is Seattle Children's Hospital. Not only does it state that gender interventions are life saving and puberty blockers are reversible, but it partners with its Autism Center.

Youth with autistic traits are overly represented in the exploding cohort of children and young adults adopting trans identities. They tend not to conform to rigid sex stereotypes, leaving them vulnerable to believing that there's something wrong with them.

Combining the autism and pediatric gender centers provides a steady stream of patients for expensive and lifelong gender treatments.”
