Bitcoin price was able to start a fresh increase above the USD 60,000 and USD 60,500 resistance levels. BTC climbed above USD 61,200. It is currently (04:18 UTC) facing resistance near USD 62,000, above which there could be a steady increase.
Besides, most major altcoins are gaining bullish momentum. ETH rallied 9% and it even spiked above USD 4,400. XRP could test the USD 1.12 resistance zone. ADA is now consolidating above the USD 2.00 level.
After a close above USD 60,000, bitcoin price was able to recover further. BTC was able to climb above the USD 60,500 and USD 61,200 resistance levels. An immediate resistance is near the USD 61,800 level. The next major resistance is near USD 62,000, above which the price may perhaps gain bullish momentum.
On the downside, an initial support is near the USD 61,200 level. The main support is now forming near the USD 60,000 level, below which the price might gain bearish momentum.
Ethereum price started a major increase above the USD 4,200 resistance. ETH rallied 9% and it even spiked above USD 4,400, reaching its new all-time high of USD 4,416 (per Coingecko) and correcting lower soon after. On the upside, an initial resistance is near the USD 4,400 level. The next major resistance is near USD 4,440, above which the price could accelerate higher towards the USD 4,550 level.

Meanwhile, Swedenโs state-owned power company is publicly defending crypto mining, saying it has the potential to balance the load on power grids.
According to the joint statement, crypto miners have taken a keen interest in the Nordic region because of the access to renewable energy in the region. It added that this is not in Swedenโs interest, because the country โneeds the renewable energy targeted by crypto-asset producers for the climate transition,โ as well as for its ability to meet the Paris Climate Accords goals.
โEnergy-intensive mining of crypto-assets should therefore be prohibited,โ the statement went on to say, while also describing the โsocial benefitโ of digital assets as โquestionable.โ

โArgentina U-Turns On Crypto Tax With New Regulation.
In an abrupt U-turn on an earlier stance adopted by the countryโs authorities, the Argentinian government has released a decree that imposes a tax on credits and debts on transactions involving cryptoassets. The regulation was published on November 17, and the measures entered into force on the same day.
โThe exemptions provided for in this decree and in other regulations of a similar nature will not be applicable in those cases in which the movements of funds are linked to the purchase, sale, exchange, intermediation and/or any other operation on cryptoassets, cryptocurrencies, digital coins, or similar instruments, in the terms defined by the applicable regulations," the Argentinian cabinet said in the decree, as reported by local paper Buenos Aires Times.
Crypto transactions were previously exempt from the levy which, under Argentinian law, is called the tax on credits and debits in bank accounts and other transactions. Such transactions were treated as if they were cash transfers, according to Sebastiรกn Domรญnguez from local tax consultancy SDC Asesores Tributarios.
The tax is levied at rates of up to 0.6%.
The latest development imposes yet another levy on Argentinian crypto users. In 2017, a reform of the countryโs tax code extended the income tax to capital gains earned from transactions that involve cryptoassets.
Earlier this month, it was reported that a number of companies were eyeing Latin America โ and countries like Argentina and Paraguay in particular โ amid their search to create new bases for bitcoin (BTC) and altcoin mining operations.
Data released by the University of Cambridge indicates that Argentina accounted for just 0.05% of the global bitcoin hashrate last August. It is yet to be seen whether the governmentโs revised tax policy will have a negative impact on the countryโs appeal to crypto industry players.
In an abrupt U-turn on an earlier stance adopted by the countryโs authorities, the Argentinian government has released a decree that imposes a tax on credits and debts on transactions involving cryptoassets. The regulation was published on November 17, and the measures entered into force on the same day.
โThe exemptions provided for in this decree and in other regulations of a similar nature will not be applicable in those cases in which the movements of funds are linked to the purchase, sale, exchange, intermediation and/or any other operation on cryptoassets, cryptocurrencies, digital coins, or similar instruments, in the terms defined by the applicable regulations," the Argentinian cabinet said in the decree, as reported by local paper Buenos Aires Times.
Crypto transactions were previously exempt from the levy which, under Argentinian law, is called the tax on credits and debits in bank accounts and other transactions. Such transactions were treated as if they were cash transfers, according to Sebastiรกn Domรญnguez from local tax consultancy SDC Asesores Tributarios.
The tax is levied at rates of up to 0.6%.
The latest development imposes yet another levy on Argentinian crypto users. In 2017, a reform of the countryโs tax code extended the income tax to capital gains earned from transactions that involve cryptoassets.
Earlier this month, it was reported that a number of companies were eyeing Latin America โ and countries like Argentina and Paraguay in particular โ amid their search to create new bases for bitcoin (BTC) and altcoin mining operations.
Data released by the University of Cambridge indicates that Argentina accounted for just 0.05% of the global bitcoin hashrate last August. It is yet to be seen whether the governmentโs revised tax policy will have a negative impact on the countryโs appeal to crypto industry players.

Cryptocurrencies appear to be far from ready for business-to-business (B2B) commerce so far due to factors like lack of convenience, a new survey suggests.
According to a joint survey by payment-related startups Invoiced and PaymentsNEXT, 59% of B2B respondents are not open to the idea of accepting cryptocurrency as a means of payment.
Released on Thursday, the survey found that only 2% of respondents adopted crypto payments so far, while 39% of those indicated any level of intention to accept cryptocurrency in the future. The study is based on online survey responses from 269 finance professionals from August 2021.
According to the surveyโs findings, B2B companies apparently prefer check payments to other payment methods like debit cards, with 77% of respondents indicating to accept checks as a means of payment. Virtual cards and cryptocurrency payments are way down the popularity list, with only 14% and 4% of respondents accepting them as payment so far, respectively.
According to the report, the alleged lack of convenience is one of the biggest impediments for B2B firms to adopt crypto payments, as 30% of respondents indicated that convenience is a key decision factor when considering this payment option. 26% of respondents also indicated that they need cryptocurrency payments to โappreciate in value for the business.โ Other reasons included issues related to transaction fees, customer demand and demonstrating innovation.
While the majority of B2B firms are apparently not yet ready to adopt crypto payments, such companies reportedly face a significant demand for virtual card and cross-border payments, with 64% and 62% of respondents exploring or adopting these areas, respectively.
As previously reported, payments in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC) make up one of its biggest use case demands, with 60% of crypto owners in the United States indicating interest in using crypto as a payment method.
