Wrote 2 months ago about record $ETH short positions and we seen Ethereum price crash over 50%.
I knew once spark arrives to flip market conditions, that #Ethereum stop hunters will go after these juicy ETH buy stops.
Has this time arrived now 🤔
For clues, I like to look at what options traders are doing.
This month's options expiry on Apr 25th has currently incredible 44.6% of put options in-the-money (usually it's below 20%).
As seen in attached pic - there are now 23,052 put options at strike price $1,800.
This could be enough incentive for option writers to want to have ETH price above $1800 - when options expire this Friday.
Also interesting is May 2nd 2025 options expiry, where there are now ⤵️
