This video is being shared far and wide, with a lot people using it as an example of how supposedly "ineffective" the Russian military is in the usage of attack helicopters. Nothing could be further from true, as this has actually been proven to be quite deadly. Lobbing rockets in this way does two very important things:

1) extends the range;
2) reduces the possibility of being detected and shot down by air defenses.

Any other gunship or attack helicopter would be used exactly like this in a similar situation. It's high-intensity warfare. In such a high-treat environment, where a thousand things can kill you, there's simply no other way. There are a lot of videos of Ka-52s using their ATGMs against single targets at long range. However, whenever you need to hit massed troops, but you don't have a BM-21 "Grad" anywhere near or they can't get there in time, you send in a fast, extremely robust and survivable attack helicopter that can go in, deliver the payload and get out as fast as possible.

The UK's General Staff, headed by Admiral Tony Radakin, directly took part in planning and executing attacks on the Russian Black Sea Fleet. Radakin also seems to have been involved in other covert operations in Ukraine, all aimed at diminishing Russian capabilities. Worse yet, it seems that other NATO assets have also been involved, presumably various ISR (intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance) platforms, meaning that London certainly wasn't alone in this "noble endeavor". In other words, this isn't a simple arming of the Kiev regime forces, but a direct participation in hostilities. For all intents and purposes, it's tantamount to a declaration of war. And that's precisely how Moscow sees it.

London was particularly infuriated by Scholz's comments about the help they've been providing to the Neo-Nazi junta, which might suggest that MI6 had some involvement in the Bundeswehr leaks, particularly to divert attention away from the UK's complicity in direct attacks on Russian naval assets. In other words, it seems as if the Europeans are now tossing the hot potato to each other in order to avoid the possible consequences of Russian anger. When people like Vincent Arbaretier, a retired Colonel of the French Army, talk about the usage of non-conventional (i.e. nuclear) weapons in a potential conflict with Russia, this can only be described as complete insanity. Ironically, the RS-28 can wipe out up to 24 urban targets in an area the size of France. Luckily, this has never been tested and it would be in everyone's best interest to keep it that way.
