A massacre has just taken place in Beirut where cowardly gunmen, believed to be from a so-called Christian militia allied to Zionism and U.S Neo-Liberalism, opened fire from buildings upon unarmed and peaceful civilians gathering for a protest against the attempted politicising, at the behest of hostile foreign powers, of the criminal investigations into the Beirut Port explosion.

This murderous outrage, with its objective of plunging Lebanon into an horrific civil war, along with the immoral destruction of Lebanon's political, economic and social infrastructure resulting from foreign sanctions and foreign meddling in the internal affairs of the Lebanese people, must be condemned by all Christians worthy of their salt. The only people who can possibly benefit from vicious civil war and social strife are the immoral foreign powers who encourage and manipulate it.
