Like nah guys she's not gonna be baking cakes and getting round to dusting the ornaments, postpartum is brutal she's having a 24/7 mega period for 6 weeks, at the very least, barring any tearing, prolapse, anaemia and/or major surgery. Women in the Traditional past were confined to rest up in bed for 40days and the only reason husbands didn't have to help was cuz everyone still lived in the same village as their female relatives.
