Preparation for Holy Week from the Discalced Hermits of Our Lady of Mount Carmel:
We now approach Holy Week and the Sacred Triduum, which solemnly commemorate the saving Sacrifice of the Word Incarnate. The Catholic Faith handed on to us by Christ and His Apostles teaches us that God became incarnate to save man from sin and its consequences: sadness, suffering, the death of the body, and the eternal death of the soul in separation from God.
As the true Head of the human race, Our Lord Jesus Christ offered upon the Cross expiation and atonement for the sins of men against God and His right order, thus meriting our eternal redemption. Throughout time, He applies the fruit of that redemption to individual personsβthough not without our free consent and cooperation. As St. Augustine says, βGod created us without us: but He did not will to save us without us.β Abiding in and cooperating with the saving grace of Christ at work in our souls, our good works and voluntary sacrifices are valuable and efficacious only by union with Christ as a participation in the mystery of His Cross.
This is how we receive the fruits of His Cross into our souls, as we will hear the Church instruct us during the triumphant days of Easter:
βYou are dead to sin, but alive unto God, in Christ Jesus our Lord. Let no sin therefore reign in your mortal body, so as to obey the desires thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of iniquity unto sin; but present yourselves to God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of justice unto God.β¦I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercy of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing unto God, your spiritual service. And be not conformed to this world; but be reformed in the newness of mindβ (Romans 6:11-13, 12:1-2).

Despite the bad quality of the photo, one thing can be observed: these clothes are women's clothes. The store only sells items for women. Notice how androgenous they are, not only by shape itself, but also by their colors, patterns, fabrics.
What we wear says a lot about ourselves and they slowly start influencing our behavior.

βBehold this Heart, Which has loved men so much, that It has spared nothing, even to exhausting and consuming Itself, in order to testify to them Its love. In return I receive from the greater number nothing but ingratitude by reason of their irreverence and sacrileges, and by the coldness and contempt which they show Me in this Sacrament of Love.β

"Behold the bread of angels, sent
For pilgrims in their banishment,
The bread for Godβs true children meant,
That may not unto dogs be given:
Oft in the olden types foreshowed;
In Isaac on the altar bowed,
And in the ancient paschal food,
And in the manna sent from heaven.
Come then, good shepherd, bread divine,
Still show to us thy mercy sign;
Oh, feed us still, still keep us thine;
So may we see thy glories shine
In fields of immortality;
O thou, the wisest, mightiest, best,
Our present food, our future rest,
Come, make us each thy chosen guest,
Co-heirs of thine, and comrades blest
With saints whose dwelling is with thee"
-St Thomas Aquinas, excerpt from Lauda Sion.

Husbands need the respect and support of their wives. This works both ways, as the wife needs to feel the support of her husband. But respect is huge for a man. A God-fearing husband knows the Lord has placed him in a position of leadership. It can be overwhelming for them sometimes because of the feeling of being squeezed from the pressures of life. The last thing a husband needs to feel is distance or distrust from his wife. Her spousal support may be the only thing that is preventing him from giving up.
