I might have destroyed one of my stepper motor controller boards whoops
π«‘1
Im making a CNC machine out of the older ender 3 I had and it uses an arduino and something called CNC shield but the arduino needs something called grbl to run CNC shield properly. When I set everything up I plugged everything in for like the first power on and the one of the steppers was vibrating and heating up and the others made no sound, and then one of the controller boards got so hot I started to smell the plastic hopefully I didn't totally fry it it did have a heat sink so that might've spared it
But after not powering the stepper motor controllers grbl just straight up refuses to respond to any commands over the serial port so that's like a huge issue

This isn't a new project this has been going on for a while
And I also don't have any proper wires for the endstops

I think why it went horribly wrong is that I trusted the process to work for some reason, idk I might've just been tired
