Nah bro im good
Im reading up on this because I got interested about how long it will be until fully articulate prosthetics become a thing

I got interested because I saw one of those shitty Chinese gimmick robots being charged and then I thought because of how impressive fitting the motors necessary to do such movement is like it would totally make for a great prosthetic arm combined with something like the neural interfaces that paralyzed people used to control a mouse
But I don't know much so there's obviously caveats and huge technical challenges with that

I was just reading up on something called "technological solutionism" which is the belief that software and technology can fix basically every issue we have. Which just isn't true at all. It's paraded by a few specific people like Peter thiel, Sam Altman, Elon musk, some of the people who happen to be the most out of touch and insulated from actual societal issues. They have written books and essays basically explaining how their concept of making a society better even if it makes it worse now is "worth the effort" and that the "ends justify the means". Like it's so ridiculously stupid, megalomaniacal, narcissistic, and out of touch. I don't even know where to start on how wrong it is. The worst part is that this belief is particularly prevalent in places like Silicon Valley, and used in a way that manipulates people into thinking they are making something good for a group, only to be screwed over or to be manipulated into delusion when that thing is used for the opposite of what it's for.
