On "waking people up."
I know it's instinctual to want to continue to try and shake those you care about awake, but after a time, it's best for you and them, and any relationship you still have, to just realize you can't do anything more. It's the same as an addict. They have to want to help themselves first. And only God and their own willingness to face reality can hope to open their eyes.
One thing you CANNOT say about the world since 2020 (I would argue earlier, but still) is that people have NOT been told exactly what the consequences for their terrible decisions would be. No longer can anyone make the excuse they were fooled with the absolute clown show this world has turned into. Anyone who still believes in this System is remaining willfully blind on purpose, whether they are consciously aware of it or not. If some cannot see what's happening at this point, it's because the magnitude of what that revelation would mean is still too much for them. They are probably terrified of the idea that the entire System they rely upon and trust to provide them with absolutely every aspect of sustenance in their life is actually their enemy; and it would be unfair of you to drag them kicking and screaming into a world they are completely unprepared for, mentally and spiritually.
We are all God's children. We have to trust in His judgment and understand that He knows best what each of us needs. At some point you are going to have to have faith and just let go.

✧ Timeframe: 2012-2022 (Note: 2022) ~ Food shortages?
✧ Implemented in 10 African countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal and Tanzania
African Union Land Policy Initiative:
✧ Proponents: African Union, United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, African Development Bank
✧ Funding: EU, IFAD, UN Habitat, World Bank, France and Switzerland
✧ Timeframe: 2006-
African governments are being co-opted into reviewing their seed trade laws and supporting the implementatio n of Plant Variety Protection (PVP) laws. The strategy is to first harmonise seed trade laws such as border control measures, phytosanitary control, variety release systems and certification standards at the regional level, and then move on to harmonising PVP laws. The effect is to create larger unified seed markets, in which the types of seeds on offer are restricted to commercially protected varieties. The age old rights of farmers to replant saved seed is curtailed and the marketing of traditional varieties of seed is strictly prohibited.
Concerns have been raised about how this agenda privatises seeds and the potential impacts this could have on small-scale farmers. Farmers will lose control of seeds regulated by a commercial system. There are also serious concerns about the loss of biodiversity resulting from a focus on commercial varieties.

Eskom is proposing new power tariffs that could mean households with lower than the average electricity consumption in South Africa and many on-grid solar users will pay hundreds of rands more every month.
As it stands, the variable and fixed costs accumulated in producing electricity in South Africa are paid for through a single electricity tariff — calculated per kWh of consumption.
