The aunties wrap gingham cloth over picnic baskets, while uncles polish horseshoes and hang little sheriff stars on strings of summer garlands. Laughter spills like lemonade from the porch—the children, dressed in frilly chaps and flower-tied bandanas, play “Catch the Outlaw,” their giggles echoing like windbells across the meadow.
