Character Feature today is the effervescent Tango! (the 'Soda fur Bun'!)
Being a Soda-Fur, she is comprised entirely from softdrink (a pineapple/passionfruit/mango mix in her case) and takes a lapine base-form most of the time
*The 'slices-through' depicted in this pic aren't a staple of her design; just an aspect she can endure with little/no consequence
(& acted as a tool for explanation in the con-table poster she was drawn up for previously)

Some Basic Specs about Soda Furs (and Tango);
💚 Soda'fur bodies, whilst comprised of carbonated drink-stuffs act somewhat similar to more hardened jelly with little to no concentration on the individuals part.
(Typically have a base form they are 'most comfortable in' and exterior reflects that)
💛 Required to keep both their sugar and hydration levels balanced & maintained for nutrition. (An over-saturation, depletion or heavy imbalance of these two from their natural levels can result in a number of interesting ways from mood shifting to proportional and substance consistency change)
🧡 Grooming is performed by 'combing' (sieving) impurities from their mass, and can take quite a while depending on the level of 'gunk n stuff' they might have accumulated during a day/week. They have the ability to bath in water without dissipation into that (unless willingly or mentally aiming to do so) though it will not have the 'cleaning' effect that regulars furs do :S (more an opportunity to replenish hydration in a non-conventional way.. & 'it tickles a bit more' as Tango would say )
❤️ SodaFurs are consumable. Once the consumed portion is fully detached that becomes as soda does (fizzy liquid) though its considered polite to ask way ahead of doing so (..treated kind of like 'you wouldn't lick a stranger' etc)
In Tangos case, she is ok with it from some prospect flirts, but also finds it rather ticklish (..which can suit the mood depending! )
💜 They also have the ability shape and liquid-shift fairly easily.
Some individuals might find maintaining of other forms a bit more difficult as that does require an amount of concentration, but most have the basic ability.
The concentration and 'squeezing' (firming up of their liquid form) is also what can give the impression or feeling of muscle-like movement from their bodies.
(Passing a hand into or through any part of their body, for example, they can relax to allow for or 'grip' onto you for example)
• Size-shifting requires extra materials, or depletion there'of, to perform. (but again, rapid liquid expansion can result in odd side effects, unless balancing sugar-levels with that)
[In Tangos case; rapid unsweetened liquid expansion tends to dim her personality from bubbly to more basic-inclinations/less talkative/toppy/a bit jock-ish, and her overall form tends to bulk more in the chest and upper-body too]
💙 The addition of other liquids/materials to their body can also result in interesting effects, alcohol or other flavours for example, drunk by them give their overall form an edge of that substance (and effect mood personality accordingly)
Getting 'drunk' of alcohols, for example.
💚 They have the ability to 'eat', consume or otherwise imbibe solids, though rarely garner any nutritional value from that.
Though some things may have light 'transferal of properties' side-effect (Like eating or pushing a large amount of strawberries into their body and leaving those there for long enough the flavour will permeate into the body)
💛 As they are liquid in a sentient form, their mood, circumstance or state of mind typically reflects their exterior visage.
(Melting more in heat/relaxation, crystallising in freezing temperatures, 'fizzing' more when excited or mad, appear and taste more 'flat' when down, etc)

🧡 Regarding 'how much can be drunk/lost before a soda-fur might be in danger: The exact threshold for 'losing themselves' would be largely up to the discretion of a designated Soda'fur owner/creator (but in the rough realms of anything smaller that 5c piece in smallness) and no real limit on up-sizing (with training)
As rapid expansion comes with a bit of unwieldiness (which will vary on individual) in a similar way a certain default-size & shape will be comfortable per entity.
🔸In Tango's case specifically; she doesn't tend to mind the bit of dizzy 'drunkness' of mental shifting that comes with size shifting up or down (considers it a bit funny/ an interesting in most cases) and will only seriously start to worry if she rapidly decreasing past the size of a small cat (which she can maintain, but gets more nervous/skittish and will 'liquid-y away to safety' when closer to a dangerous line. *like shlorping into impossible parts of the couch, or thin cracks to hide/etc)
❤️ As for sizing up in larger liquid-bodies; that is less immediately scary to Soda-furs & more than it's just a hassle to recover from. If you have ever seen a [chicken egg-cracked underwater] you'll notice that it's (not impossible, but) harder to tell where the edges of that begin and end.
And whilst it takes little concentration to maintain more of that firmer gelatine-y exterior layer, a prolonger exposure to, relaxing too much, fatigue or other extremes might see a general flaking or bits disperse from.
Much like that short vid depicts also; its very rare for an individual to complete dilute though (maintaining their core even beyond extremes, like being smashing or splatted there is a light amount of radial gravity in the area seeing that draw back together.)
One would have to try real hard to separate enough of their core goo/self/consciousness (say, in capturing separate parts of their goop in a series of vials for example) in order to stop them from reforming. And even then, it may only result in altering their personality up a little or a bit instead of outright preventing them from being able to reform.
[it might be possible to separate portions with enough substances for both of those parts to solidify back into a smaller version their base-form again but those are inexorably drawn to one another again and will reform into the one one upon close enough proximity]
💜 And even if separated across great distances in the world, a streak of wanderlust will see the separated fractions come together eventually (where unobstructed) as a passive draw.
💙 Chemical reactive components would indeed burn/evaporate/fizz/etc and some of the more severe reactions might even result in a calcifying 'scarring' in the immediate also.
Depending on what, a given individual might find it difficult to 'grow' of form past a scar until that heals or significantly reduces also.
A cleansing sieving might be able to clear most damage out, but depending how close to the core or the nature of the wound, that might 'hurt' to pull against/out from them also.
In rare cases close enough to a Soda'furs core, might not be able to be removed until more healed (if at all).
💚 By default, for polite day to day contact/interactions they are likely to feel mostly like a soft Gummi Bears (Haribo is the brand that comes to mind! for look and texture) unless they would choose to soften or liquefy more pending the nature of contact shared with others.

Though I imagine there would be a sort of classically associate with how self confident/how insecure an individual might be too
— A Strong individual (of will or physicality) might have a firmer yet exterior layer 'deeper reaching' than say, another whom might 'wear their heart a bit more on their sleeve' a therefore carry their inner liquid closer to the surface. Someone Shy might also have a 'tighter' outer layer etc
A very relaxed or more intimate situation might see more of the self-healing jelly type surface interaction, or even goopier too
Stickyness coming off from an individual will only typically occur if; desired, too over-sweetened, being more 'sweaty'/dirty, or if they might be significantly ailing health-wise (mental of physical)
Squeezing an individual to a point of form-altering will also depends how relaxed/comfortable/forceful the given interaction is.
— If unwelcome there might the mental resistance will fall closely inline with physical resistance for example)
— If caught by surprise; touch might result in a shocked splatting/liquid-y retraction/melt/etc.
— If welcome or with good friends that might be more (literal) gushing over/close enclosing around/stretchability/the comedic 'bulging out either side of the cinch-point'/etc

With perfectly balanced hydration and sweetening an individual will (most of the time) scale up in their default chosen form.
But what their ideal shape becomes with the increase of materials might also change the larger they get.
(Some might simple Thicc'en up with increase, others might lean more to just en'talling.)
[Tango in particular slides to a more 'top heavy' silhouette and 'top/almost jockish' demeanour with rapid expanding, but even when balance she will lean more to these traits gently also. Just more... 'politely']

In which case, they will will expel the thinner liquid down to a point they can maintain and begin to heal the gap.
(this is possibly quite exhausting and makes slower work of being able to expand again until more balanced once more.)
— And even with slower more even levelling up, the extra concentration required maintain a larger size does stretch on a individual. (Imagine a single persons mental fortitude piloting a larger mech-cladding, the relative drag and weight disproportionate to the one aiming to 'pilot' all the extra mass)
