🔹 On the Topic of 'patchy fandom groups / grouping in general'
honestly ~
This is just how broader social circles tend to go
It's not really 'furries' specific by any measure
Folks (ideally) socialise as suits their want n need for such contact with others - will resonate more or less with others they find in that endeavour - may even form deeper friendships with a select few
And, as a result, will favour contact & interaction with those (over forging completely new connections or carve out the smaller interactions from a larger group every time/week/month/year/etc)
Introverts definitely exist
Neurodivergence also
- Hull, even extraverts & folks who have less to no neurodivergency also might just favor lighter, or easier, interaction more on the regular too
And there is quite honestly nothing at all wrong with anyone finding their preferred folks and settling into & with that
(Feel like the term cliquey gets thrown around far too often with a negative rap' : when, in reality, if anyone finds any one, a small, or even a larger group, that they resonate well with .. that's actually great!)
We, hoomans, can quite literally only hold so many contacts, info & details in our own heads - the realms of sociability is no different
If you haven't found you fave folks yet in life - there are a LOT out there (some in very unexpected places too infact!)
Always see what thoust can do for others - before seeking what others can do for thee! 💕
