"Returning in 2023 after a sell-out season, Lightscape, an extraordinary, after-dark experience at Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne, is back with a brand new trail.
Immersed in light, colour, reflection and music, the all-new 2.1km trail takes visitors through the green heart of Melbourne. Expect stunning lakeside reflections, colour-changing installations, large-scale illuminated sculptures and new surprises along the way with over 100,000 tiny lights.
In 2023, the trail of light and sound includes never before seen artworks along with the impressive Winter Cathedral that was a crowd favourite when it debuted in 2022. The popular welcome zone filled with Melbourne’s best food trucks and pop-up bars is also returning.
Following enormous successes in the UK and US, Lightscape, created in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment, made its debut in Melbourne in 2022 and was an overwhelming success."
