Todays Character Feature is another once-and a pinch!-off; my Wingless Dragon of Luck
Not a great deal of lore to them, believe when I first drew them in 2015, that was as an A5 Sketchbook cover piece
Those always felt significant, as a kind of 'skill update example for the on-coming year or book to be filled'
They only surfaced once more in a small way as part of a bunch of scribbles bought by Bond2602! ^_^

Today we meet another more conceptual character 'made real': my Saber Lynx Muse
(No particular reason why they were ascribed any gender in the first place; but they have always carried a more fem' tilt in my minds'eye) Given that their visage is only an embodiment of what they represent; which is 'the inspiration and focus one feels for creativity or work at 3am'
If that drive at that time were to have a a presence, that is that/they would look and 'feel' like I think~
I do not draw them very often, only surfacing again;
•For a small visual accompaniment for an event I hosted for anyone whom lived local enough and was keen to come join an adventure out to go buy crafting faux-fur en-mass from a store I lived not far from during 2012 (seemed fitting for an entity concerned with creativity!)
•Then again (loosely) as a sketch-book-drawn display example of Table-Commission tiers in 2015
..If I ever try my hand at Fursuit-crafting also; this is likely the character I might attempt to make make also :>

On the Topic of..
~ How can one find or rekindle Motivation towards drawing or Creating ~
Was prompted by a rando FA artists I follow, and thought it might be prudent to share my 2cents and insight here also!
•Break down ideas into manageable pieces.
Often the idea of a whole big overwhelming piece can be daunting, so instead look at any endeavour as smaller 'much easier to knock over' chunk-bits! :)
•Sketching or Drafting down SUPER rough thumb-nails can be a very low intensity way to be flexibly creative for example!
•Then, take a moment to reflect on what you've put down and pick what resonates best to clean up into a proper sketch (also an easy build from that last step!)
= Also take breaks in between the different stages and/or pieces and let inspiration find you in lots of different, non-drawing related way too!
-Write cool ideas or titles down to reference or incorporate later too!
-Let Music or Other media inspire you
-Talk with other creatives and/or absorb other fiction etc!
•From any sketches you liked to look of;
-can either work more change into that if not satisfied next you come back to it
-Or ink next! (and doesn't have to be the worlds most clean work, or even any particular style .. just go with what feels good in the moment/for that piece!) :>
•Then, once inks/refinement are done, it's pretty much easy down-hill stride of flatting that then chucking any highlights n shading on that (if it even calls for it)
-Or going straight into a rough painter-ly colour-up for it
Then ya done with any given something! ♥️ ^_^
— And any/all of those stages are perfectly ok levels to call anything finished also or to practice more into only too! :3
And if you like posting WiPs and practice work also, then they are good fun things to share with other creatives too! ^_^

Also felt compelled to add another 2c (4c now on the topic, gasp!) about
~ Healthy Habits concerning Self Discipline ~ too
There is a certain measure of indeed;
• Faking it til' you make it
• Pushing through some harder bits that are not always going to be light and easy
• Building up Muscle Memory & Good Habit Forming.
Not all projects or tasks are going to be super/fun/wow/great; but they still require doing or learning to do.
(.. Rent isn't going to pay itself after-all) And it's ones active responsibility to indeed make sure to be taking care of self-sustaining duties.
-And not just putting a roof over your head either, talking nutrition, maintaining rest and mental-health, etc too!
•So be sure you are managing yourself to avoid burn-out
•Give yourself enough time in which the reasonably be doing your job/creative pursuits
•And Exercise, Eat properly, get Sunlight, get Social and both Mentally and Physically Rest as is required to self-sustain properly too!
And finally, quite honestly .. sometimes you do not always necessarily need a clear goal in mind to create and practice things either.
Just make a start and see where the journey in that takes you, don't be afraid to divert course during and see what does come out! 💕 :)
Might just pleasantly surprise yourself!

Another low-show throw away character whom never got a name beyond her affectionate factory-floor name; Vulpopsicle
I imagine her mute (or so soft-spoken she may as well be) and I think the only real influences going into her design and creation as 'Old-school-anime-hair & big pawbs R cool' :S

Another Single(Double*?) use character in Jungle-Cat; Lyddia
Her first appearance (Left) was back in 2004 was soley to promote one of those 'hip n' cool at the time' DA-group-accounts; the Green Club 💚
It wasn't until 2018 that she received a name that felt nicer than the initial clichè 'Jade' and another up-dating look ^_^
Green (the Colour) is still, and forever will be, awesome though too! ;33
